PSN SL34 4Kings Help!

Can anyone help me with them? I'd also like to pick up the very large ember along the way. It may be a good idea that I get that first, upgrade, then enter the boss fight, but it depends on how patient my phantoms want to be I suppose. I can't even effectively reach the ember by myself, as all I have for protection is my +10 rapier and wooden shield. I have base vitality and endurance as a sorcerer. I need a bodyguard, in a sense.

Are you staying 34 or are you leveling up? If you get to 40 ill help, im 55.

Funny thing is that second vid looks almost exactly like my build, aside from the power within. I didn't grab that.

Power within is annoying to get. I didnt get it this playthrough until I had to have it to fight the kings. That being said it is the best way to beat them so the annoyance is worth it. Having the master key and going into blight town the back way helps out a lot with low level runs and such.
Other than power within or iron flesh another way is to use spells/pyromancy with dusk crown and dragon crest ring equipped. Yes the dusk crown lowers magic resistance, but with base vit one hit will kill you anyway so it really doesn't matter to much. With their weakness to magic that combo kills them really fast.
Edit: forgot to mentioned that ele buffs or having a upgraded ele weapon is also very helpful

I wasn't, I haven't actually tried yet. I can use lightning resin on my painting guardian sword, but I should probably get the ember to upgrade it to +15 first. I feel like I'll need some help because I have such low vit and defenses.
