    I personally find even 100 and 120 somewhat distasteful; it's time-consuming without glitches or hacks to make a SL 100 character, whereas you can hit 55 without a full playthrough and hit scaling-max any 1 stat if you care to do so with some leftover points to use.

    Especially at 120 you can fastroll in good armor and have multiple attack types already without making significant sacrifices. It's unnecessary.

    From 120-150. 30 soul levels.

    Dexterity builds would obviously have an edge, but what kind of edge would it be?

    -An extra 50-60 hp?...meh.

    -An extra 10 AR?...meh.

    -EXTRA RESISTANCE!!!!..sorry j/k.

    -An extra 10-15 magic adjustment?....meh.

    -Poise...well ya, this could be problematic. However, a lot of people don't realize this would go for every build. If you wanna trade blows with your Balder Side Sword with 76 poise and a fast rolling strength build wielding a MSGS with 76 poise...be my guest.

    Imo, your Giant :mask-father: wont save you then.

    Overall, do dex builds get an advantage? Yes. The question is, is that advantage one that doesn't exist already? Do we currently have "twink builds"? Yes, they wouldn't be anymore frequent than they already are. Soul level 150 would give the strength builds (and variations of str builds) the assistance they desperately need.

    We are already haunted by twinks, how would this be any different?

    100 started because of the arena. I've heard people say the Japanese have soft capped at sl 100 for a long time. I also seen the community push past 120 before the arena or dlc was even a thought.

    Personally, the only reason I'll make a low level build is for: regulating / lolz / events. Outside of that, its not my preference.

    Besides, 120 is much more optimal to begin with. Especially after the DWGR and MoM patch.

    In recent months, the lower the SL the better.

    I don't have a lot of time to make builds, and I find low soul levels forces people to make tough decisions on their character, which results in more of a variety of playstyles compared to the old SL120 I'm used to. To me, anyways.
    At the moment my favourite toon is SL55.

    with fewer people playing the game, it has been out for a long while now, i find that lower soul levels attract more pvp and co-op than higher soul levels do. in my experience, the most action is at level 30-70 in all areas of the game. the crowd seems to thin out beyond level 100, save for over leveled gankers and dedicated pvp artists.

    so random invasions and co-op works best at roughly level 50± and fight clubs work best at 120.

    i tend to cap my builds in the level 90-100 range. but it takes me a full 30-40 hours to even get that high (with fully upgraded gear and in NG++) so i'm bored playing that character by then anyway. i've taken a few characters to 120 and even 150+, but i almost never play them as they've already seen so much action by that point.
