Question for Gravelords

Simply put, for everyone with post-patch gravelord experience, at what SL do you see the most action in terms of people invading via your sign? I imagine SL100 at the township would be fairly active, but people seem to go to kill Manus at lower levels, i.e. around 80, as well as there being a lack of activity in other areas of the game at SL100.

I'd like to gravelord in more areas than just the Township, and my choice here is pretty much between SL100 and 80. My only problem with 80 is that there might not be players on NG+ to suffer under my black phantoms and have the incentive to invade me.

Seriously, no one with Gravelord experience? Something must be done about this...

I GL at the Painted World at SL 80. I get "good" activity at the bonfire. But if you want to aim at PvErs on NG+ whatever then you should go SL 150 or even higher. Since GLs are hosts I believe lower SLs could invade you through the GL sign. Maybe at common bonfires like the one before O&S, Duke's Archives, etc. Places that people seek coop.

duke's at sl 99, yo uknoe those dark bead spammers and css get about three sets of those so they have to get there too.

That's a very good idea lol. Same would go for WoG spammers at the ToG hahahaha.

Lol, I could get people running Tomb on NG+ for stacks of WoG. They only earn it after fighting through the BP skele dogs.

Usually what I do is what ribosome does, coop and if we both die amd I see he's on ng+ ill use mu eye amd quit to perma gl lol.

Perma Gl's not permanent, I got it once and it was lifted a couple of weeks later.

I know, same thing happened to me and It lasted about three weeks, I loved it.

To lift a perma GL, you'll have to stay at the area for around 10 minutes before it goes. You can't move to other areas while doing so. Also, a goo place to GL is outside the forest near the bonfire. Many gankers who lose will have to go for the bonfire. Easy preys.

I like to gravelord both forests and the township. I get the most sovs there. Man it's a blast when you get invaded by three people at the same time and it turns into a free for all chaos. I always hope the red invader would be on my side because sovs can't hurt each other, but sometimes they're just so hungry for the souls that they all come after me

township is easily the best place to get actual sovs and eyes from what ive seen, behold!!

I've actually seen that rant, it's SL100 though and I'm going to try for 80, as I might get more sov action in the Lord Areas.

sl 100 will get more action but im not sure, i do know that duke's gets a lot of action for sure since ive gravelorded there and trolled peopple with the ladder on the right of the bonfire, most people are dms or dws but you do get the occassional vader that picks up your sign.

I get good action mostly in the township and the burg... gravelording is so much fun!! sl80 seems a bit low perhaps? My gravelord is 120... I really wish there were more gravelords...

I don't intend to only gravelord in PvP hotspots though. I'll always get action in the township and forest, I want to gravelord in normal PvE areas as well.

arent they all pve areas? i know what you're trying to say but you have to keep in mind that pve'rs will never invade you through your sign and you will wait forever for an actual invasion through your sign.

I realize, but my intention isn't to just mix up the usual SL meta dueling. It's such a shame Black Phantoms only spawn on NG+.

yeah, while ng bps can appear it is very rare and it really sucks. i guess you can always try and see what kind of action you get. i would try sen's too, those bps in there are brutal, it makes sen's so much fun when coop'ing.

What SL are you?

For sl100 I suggest Township, Burg and Forest. But I believe, if you want to infect people's world with BPs, township is the best. You might try even with AL or ToG. Good luck.

This is what I'm thinking for SL80. I'll bring it up to 100 if I can't get enough action in the Lord Areas. I'm also considering an atypical SL like 85. At 85 I can fight both SL100's and lower people doing PvE.
