Okay not a whole lot of new news in this article but since it was posted today I thought I'd share it anyways.

    http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/12513/article/dark-souls-2-details-surface-locations-game-mechanics-enemies/

What really spiked my interest into posting this was just about the slight mention of the location which states that the game is going to be somewhere on a cove near the ocean. That still doesn't really give us a definitive place which realm it will be in but thought I'd share and let others speculate.

    A dedicated tutorial? That's nice, I just hope it's skip-able.

Yeah, that's one thing I kind of liked about Demon's Souls. After you went through the tutorial once you never had to do it again on your NG+ playthroughs. Though then again Dark Souls tutorial ties into the story more then Demon's Souls so I guess it's kind of important to play it.

No cut scenes and being able to affect the story by killing NPC's seem very interesting.

We better wait for the OXM mag to come out.

This information sounds very dubious. I say this because neither Demon Souls nor Dark souls were big on cutscenes. The only ones there are are pretty much the boss entrances, and the intro/ending. Also, both those games already have the 'mechanic' of being able to kill npc's that affect your 'story', since they are gone for that play cycle.
