Stuck becuase of missing Key to the Seal

So I've now finaly gotten back to New Londo Ruins on NG+ and this time i choose to kill Ingward. No key dropped and I'm now stuck. Is there anything that can be done to progress?

Don't know what you can do. Perhaps check the chest behind Frampt in Firelink? That's a longsgot, though.

Nope, you glitched it. I thought that glitch was fixed ages ago though?

Unless you can somehow modify the save-file on PC to give yourself the key, you're screwed.

It's a known glitch, tends to happen on NG+ if you just kill him instead of talking to him.

There is a trick you can do to get it back using the cheat engine, otherwise you're stuck.

I think you use a patsy key (like the New Londo one you find in Blighttown or something) and change it's value to the Seal Key.

Do a google there should be a tute on how to do it, it was a very common issue at one point before people learned to not kill him on NG+ (still alright on NG as far as I am aware).

Well thanks. Cheat Engine worked. Maybe I'll remeber to talk to him the next time then.

You can shoot him on NG, but it seems on NG+ it's best to talk to him. Doesn't do it everytime, but enough that it's not worth the risk and hassle.
