well i can help, but this could be difficult to arrange: the whole forest is a hotspot for pvp. so if u go in there as human trying to summon, you will end up getting invaded pretty quickly. u should join forest hunters, as u will get rid off the blue phantoms and the npc enemies in your game won't attack you anymore.
this also enables you to just run through the whole area, so u can practice the battle. really: sif is not that hard, even more so at sl60. if you still want help add me gfwl: sku777
u should also see some summon signs when u enter the area, at the buttom of the stairs.
