Whats your favorite armor combo?

Hey guys, couldnt find a thread on this.
I wanted to see what you guys have come up with.
I thought Ive done every combanation out there until I blew my mind today with this armor set I came up with, it looks so bad ***! IMO.

Okay...I cant for the life of me figure out how to post an image strait to the post. If someone knows how to explain it to me, I would very much appreciate it.
So heres what Im rockin' at the moment:

head: porcelain mask
chest: ornstein's armor
legs/boots: lord's blade gloves
gloves: waistcloth of the channelers

Shield: Crest
Weapon: Whatever you want, Im using BKH or VLC

If you havent seen this combo for yourself, trust me...I looks so sick! I use Havel ring so I can medium roll. Im not a fan of the fat roll unless Im wearing very heavy armor, like Havels, or Smough's, then it feel right cause thats how it would be with that heavy armor weighing you down. It just doesnt seem right fast rolling with heavy armor on. I just cant do it, because of how seriously I take role playing in DkS.
So has anyone else used this combo of armor yet. Of course someone has, I just havent so I know there must be a few out there who havent either, so I thought I pass it along.

right now i rock Pharis hat with wanderer

The brass and moonlight sets. I never use them though, there are to many better options.

I literally have them written down somewhere because I have so many looks that I like. Maybe I'll find it and post what I like later.

Anything with the Symbol of Avarice.

Wanderers Coat and hood. Paired with the black iron leggings and gauntlets. On a very slim female character this set is very flattering. I love the fur on the coat.

Bloated Head, Guardian Armor, Havel Arms and Legs. I look like a freaking behemoth.

WHY DOSEN'T THE MALE ARMOR ALSO HAVE THE FUR.

Right now my three most used toons are Royal Helm, Black Iron chest, and Havel's Gauntlets and Leggings; Giant's Helm, SK chest, Giant's gauntlets, and Havel's leggings; and Black Iron helmet and chest, Havel's gauntlets, and Steel leggings. I like the heavy stuff a lot, both visually and functionally. I kind of don't like Havel's helmet and chest piece, but the chained gauntlets and leggings are so cool.

I rock this:
Elite knight helm
Wander coat
black iron gaungalets
Havel's leggings
I look like a beast. Oh and the buckler shield i think looks nice with it.

Steel armor, Iron golem leggings, iron golem gauntlets, Elite knight helm

Knight armor, Hollow soldier Helm, Cleric gauntlets, Black Iron leggings


Or


Wanderer coat (why so much love for my coat? D: ), Knight Boots, Thorns gauntlets and Pharis hat

I always try to combine aesthetics with functionality, but I found out that my armor combinations are quite generic.

Male Dex/Pyro
Head: Nothing / Gargoyle Helm
Torso: Wanderer's Coat
Arms: Eastern Gloves / Traveling Gloves
Legs: Knight's Leggings / Eastern Leggings


Male Str/ Faith
Head: Golem Helm
Torso: Black Iron Armor
Arms: Black Iron Gauntlets
Legs: Black Iron Leggings

Female Dex/Int and Female Dex/Faith
Head: Nothing / Crown of Dusk
Torso: Lord's Blade Robe
Arms: Lord's Blade Gloves
Legs: Lord's Blade Waistcloth

Female SL1
Head: Nothing / Crown of Dusk
Torso: Dingy Robe / Nothing
Arms: Traveling Gloves / Gold/Hemmed Black Gloves

Something I saw that I always liked:

Sunlight Maggot, Eastern Armor, Gough Gauntlets and Anklet of the Great Lord.

It's golden and has this weird futuristic feudal look to it.

Why is everyone so bothered about how good it looks? I'm fine with anything that doesn't look completely retarded (i'm looking at you, hollow warrior/soldier waistcloth). I usually just go round in full giant's, or sometimes i'll swap out the gauntlets + leggings for havel's if I want to look a bit less top-heavy.

Also just thought i'd ask: how long did it take all of you to create your armour setup? I wouldn't have the patience to try out every single armour combo in the game.

almost all my toons have gargoyles helm for pure bad assery, but this is my new uniform.

not only do i look like a pimp but i can take ALL the slaps i need to

I'm currently a big fan of the Balder chestpiece, Gough's Leggings, plated gauntlets, no headgear look.

EDIT: Plated Gauntlets as in any hand armor that isn't made of cloth or chain. Anything from Lord's Blade to Black Iron (though I find Guardian, Stone, Gough's, and Havel's Gauntlets to be too big and kind of don't compliment the look too well).

If you don't try to look good or silly in your own way, you're missing out on one of the main factors of what makes an 'RPG' fun. You say that yet you're worried about your looks being top-heavy. Way to contradict yourself, man... Not hatin', just sayin'. =/

Hollow Thief Armor
Gauntlets of the Vanquisher
Hard Leather Boots (Sometimes Wanderers Boots, if I want heavier equipment. Both look good.)

Scythe in the main hand and Demon's Spear in the off-hand. With the Wolf Ring it hits the 41 poise breakpoint, wee.
