Umm... Does no-one know?

So whenever I'm hunting, I'll see some GCG(Glass Cannon gankers)s attacking a fellow forest fighter with their Moonlit butterknives or whatever... SO anyways, I cast my good 'ol Havels Protection(GMB) and rush in. After smashing them off a buddy, they'll try to kill me with some blasts or swings of the MLGS. . . I'm always like -_-" *Swings*
I mean, don't they know it pretty much makes their attempts futile with that weapon??

I've setup parried the same guys over and over. I almost sent them a PM telling them to stop R1 spamming. I would have done it too, if it wasn't so fun to parry them gankers all day.

That's like attacking someone who has Flash Sweat AND full Hemmed Robes on with Pyromancies... I just really don't get it. =/

Why would the gankers need to learn the intricacies of the game? They get enough "victories" acting as sloppy and as ignorant as they want so where is the incentive to learn?

Ehh, Gankers are players just as us... They just need to jump people to feel strong, or maybe they've had horrible past experiences with invaders, who knows? I don't, don't care either. I just find them another part of Hunting now. Avoid, seperate, attack, repeat. That's how it goes...

I can relate to this. Some players expect DMB when they see my Darkmoon invader and put GMB on. SLB isn't magic, it's lightning, but they still think that GMB will help them, or something. But I also like to use GMB, even if my opponent doesn't seem to have spells, because nowadays, anyone can get pushed into a corner and pop Dark Bead in your face.

Anyway. If the Int character attacks you with MLGS's R2, it can be to stagger you for a bs, or to keep you away, not to directly damage you with it.

I've used DB on a guy with GMB before as well, because that thing staggers like a truck and then I circled him for a bs when he was staggered.

i ran into someone with GMB while i was invading with my intelligence build, the only weapons i had were the moonlight sword and moonlight horn. i knew i was screwed, but i had to try and it did not turn out well for me. "GMB *shakes fist* damn you for negating my only useful weapon!"

though i do like it when i run into GMB users when i play my dragon bro. "so you think your cute little bubble wrap will save you? bwahahaha! not a chance my friend. DRAGON SMASH!"

Parrying the r2 of the dragon weapons is one of the most awesome things I like doing.

In the forest, I try to go with high magic defense and low magic attack. SLB and GMB are perfect.

i know! people never expect it and stop doing the special attack once they get parried lol
