    Favorite Boss fight and tips

Post by BARZOHD- on Thu Jan 19, 2012 8:19 pm

Hey, just wanted to know what boss has been your favorite or even least favorite! I like a challenge so i definitely gotta go with 4 kings. Tips on how to make this guy easier would be much appreciated!

my favourite boss by appearance and design is the aping Dragon with the channeler Alive. That is fun, especially since usually one hit means death when that mage does his dance for the dragon (many kill the Channeler first).

By general Standards, however, my favorite boss to fight is the... well, i guess the Gaping Dragon with the Channeler. He isn't the hardest, but the song and the moment seems to epic during this time.

    Sif. By far.

Others would be Seath, Ornstein and Smough and Gwyn

gwyn kicked my balls every the first few times i fought him. I had to use some walls around there to give me some breathing room. The music during that is sort of sad and self fullfilling. Reminds u of all the stress and ps3 remotes you destroyed the whole journey there and the final show down of what you have been training for.

I really enjoy fighting Capra demon, it's the only boss that actually feels like a proper fight.

i enjoy quelaag too and Sif is quite a fun fight.

I only enjoy ornstein and smough if i have a phantom, otherwise it's just annoying silly

Power within+2 hand weapon+grass crest shield/blossoms+wolf ring is pretty much guaranteed win in first playthrough.
And S & O was my favorite boss fight EVER!

Even though I hated losing to O&S during my first time I thought they were the coolest, even better than Gwyn (but he is a second)

The entrance they make is badass, and they are two bros (sorta) fighting for each other. Ornstien is more bro than Smough is though.

Was that for the 4 kings fight or the S & o fight?

iron golem for me, seeing him kneel after hitting his legs was kinda awesome, it felt reall if that makes any sense all the other bosses just take hits and barely stagger.

My favorite has to be Sif. I just love the music and when he limps it makes me question why I'm killing him. Some tips would be to just stay under his legs.

Sif seems to be everybodies favorite here. I will admit that he's pretty cool. best music though is still the gwyn fight!

S&O or Gwyn (if you don't parry)

gargoyles the first time (with no Drake sword) was fun to. i one shotted every other boss by wearing havels + two handing BK sword on my first play through.

SnO if you kill Smough first. The difficulty of ''super'' Ornstein is just perfect to give you a challenge and not rage quit IMO.''Super'' Smough don't get stronger, just lightning attack ,which is boring.SIf's the coolest looking boss. You don't to see a giant wolf weilding a sword that bigger then him often. The worst is propably BoC.All you do is run and hope to not get pushed in a hole

For 4 Kings, get one person to help you, just 2 Hand a greatsword and roll the attacks, good armor with plenty of estus really helped me.

My favorite would have to be Flamelurker since that dude gets Stronger with less health, and is a demonic flaming Imp with Nuke Fists.
but in Dark Souls, Gaping Dragon just for his insane intro.
[Little Loch Ness Monster thing appears]
"Oh, that's not too bad, I can-"
[Loch ness monster thing steps forward, stretching to height and laying back on itself"
    "OH ***"

I did this the first 5 times I fought him...
