My first beginnings as a dragon newt

I've been getting summoned....more or less frequently for invasions as a dragon newt on level 15.

I have to say, I've never been dragon before but it's pretty fun <3 Unless the other guy is rockin end game armor, the dragon breath does a crap ton of damage. But I've noticed that the overwhelming majority of my summons the host hasn't attacked me first. I think they all think that I'm a friendly phantom

Maybe the reason it's so fun is because you're level 15 with a high damaging move versus new players.

I've been mulling around with the idea of making a duel pyro glove 0 roll dragon for a while now but I had never thought of making it a mid-low slvl. I'm curious what kind of set up have you been using and what have you experienced in the way summons/invasions? Like how competitive are players in pvp and what kind of builds have you seen hosts using.

Um....The overwhelming majority of hosts are sporting default equipment. Maybe once every 15-20 invasions I get someone who has endgame armor, but it's very rare.

My set up is just the dragon body stone, and then nothing but a pyromancy flame. My pyromancies change depending on what I feel like, but I usually sport firestorm, fire tempest, and great combustion. The dragon breath pretty much replaces any use for fire orbs and any projectile pyromancy.

The roar is amazing. Always gets you a free buffed shot to the face.

My favourite dragonwraith invasions are at sl120 in the township. Ltng Gargoyles halberd.
Even with v little defence i reckon I still have a good win ratio..
Only thing is keep running out of cracked red orbs

I'm thinking I'd make something with an obscene attunement around slvl 100 or so to be able to coop/invade most bosses and pvp areas. I'd probably do something like this http://mmdks.com/zpk focusing on attunement with enough stamina to roll 4 or 5 times in a row.

@ Gambs I always end up joining a cov for its spells whether sunbro, gravelord, or dragon and immediately joining the darkwraiths before offering any scales or eyes just so I can earn the 2 stacks of 99 cracked eyes. Then I'll rejoin my main cov and start offering items. It's a must for my darkmoon builds too it just takes to long earning cov ranks to go switching until I have a backup of cov items..

i fought a couple players today that did the dragon breath on me on my sl120 i think it was. it was a fun fight even tho i didn't have the dragon stuff, and that breath shoots far lol

Yeah but if you join the darkwraiths first for the cracked orbs. Then go see the stone dragon you can have 198 dragon wraith invasions.. and be at rank 3. I Soo should have done this.

I need a dark souls to do list that covers everything in an efficient way.

I normally just ask players if they wanna trade for cracked orbs. I think a humanity or demon titanite is a fair trade.
