Demon Souls Wiki Vets

Just wondering who came over from Demon's Souls Wiki. I did. Who else is a veteran?

I came over from there. I wasn't an extremely active poster. Not the best environment for me. I came over here and haven't looked back since.

Now that I think about it, I was more of a lurker, though I posted occasionally. At least I had an account. Shoulda made that an option lol.

i used to urk every once in a while, i have never joined a wiki until this one but in the beginning it was full of trolls so i didnt post much since they were annoying as hell, when they started getting banned and stopped making new accounts i started posting more.

I lurked some, but never had an account. Used the wiki itself a ton more than the forum. I didn't have a very steady internet connection when I first got into Demon's, so most of what I did with that game was offline. I wasn't even really aware that there was much of a community. Nobody in my circles had even heard of it.

When reading up on some DeS things I happened upon a Forum or 2 (never joined, never posted). Which Wiki are you talking about exactly?

I lurked a different DeS wiki for 5-6 months then started an account about a month before DkS release and was nonstop until about April/May 2012?

Took a break and got hooked on DCUO. Taaaaaaalk about lag lol.

Interesting question. I wonder how many DeS vets will go on to DkS2. Half of em said they weren't even gonna play DkS for 3 months...look at some of em now lol. Matchmaking did suck after release I will say that.

I still use the Dark Souls wikidot wiki more, and make updates to it. It's only because of my familiarity with the Demon's Souls wiki, and I made an arbitrary decision to only work on making updates to one of the wikis for now. One thing I wouldn't want to do is make every page I edit the same on both wikis. I do post about my research here though, hoping others can independently confirm my findings and make updates to wikispaces if errors are found.

If I ever feel "done" with the other wiki, you bet my focus will shift to wikispaces though.

However, this forum is MUCH more active and I prefer it vastly. I find that this forum and the r/darksouls subreddit are probably the best places for talking about dark souls.
