I was Slvl 35, I saw 2 guys' signs just before Flamelurker's Fog Gate, I tried to summon them. Failed. Again I saw the same signs. Failed. Failed. Failed etc.... And I know the signs were truly there because they moved every time it failed, also I talked to one of the guys I was trying to summon and he told he gets a lot summons all the time.

I tried at different lvls to invade: 20 at 2-1, 30 and 35 I tried at 2-2, and EVEN WITH MY SLVL 120 AT 4-1 (that's the greatest PvP hotspot and lvl for this game)!!!!

I just don't know what's happening, I can see blue signs okay, I can see messages, and I often see white ghosts walking around.

Also when I played this game in 2010 I could play online fine, and nothing changed in my internet configuration since. I know there is less people but one of the guys told me that there is still a lot of people that bought the game after beating Dark Souls and are playing it.

Every time I use the black stone I just get Invading... Invading... Invading....

BAM! Failed.

I mean really, even at Slvl 120 in 4-1 I can't do any PvP! Anyone who wants to do pvp goes there in Demon Souls.

Help?


PS: I can play online in Dark Souls fine.

Best advice I could give is keep trying. Maybe try to coordinate with a buddy to see if you can summon/fight eachother and give it a go. I've had quite a few failed invades, and a lot more people I've beeen seeing that just disconnect the second they get the "You're being invaded" message.

And I'm sure people play but I haven't been able to run into anyone in 4-1 to pvp whatsoever, then again, because of that I don't hang out around there to fish for pvp either, so maybe that's my problem. I've actually had the most luck with invading in world 2 or 3

Failures happen, but it sounds like you are experiencing a glitch. Did you quit the game (not just your character) and reload? I've had something similar happen several times in Dark Souls where despite seeing signs I couldn't summon anyone, and never got invaded. Quitting/reloading fixed it.

I seem to be getting the same problem but I cant see any signs I see bloodstains msg ghost but I cant summon or be summoned ive waited hours on many differnt sl's with my blue sigh down even took a nap (fell asleep waiting) woke up hours later and my blue sign is still there idk whats wrong is it just that there are less people playing now because darksouls is out?

I was summoned twice yesterday, and also invaded several times. Also ran into several BPs when summoned with the host. So it's still going. I hav e NA version, sl 67

Befowler brings up an interesting point. How do the servers work in Demon Souls? Are they region based? Is it possible that some servers are no longer in operation? I wouldn't know since I haven't paid attention to it for a while, just a suggestion :/

they function in Na, i've gotten summons here. but yeah demons is regional i believe.

i used the summoning rock in tower of latria 3-1 then they took me to the boss so i kill the players there.

Put a sign down in 1-3 last night and was summoned within 2 minutes, by someone who was clearing playing the level for the first time (so people are still picking up the game). There are tons of white phantoms running around too, and lots of bloodstains
