Logan would actually have a shot I think except for his addled nature. We know he can cast and damage but he somehow gets bested by.....well, just about anything. He's lucky enough to end up in a cell rather than dead at least.
Tarkus on the other hand is aggressive and smart enough to avoid attacks. And once he connects Logan is finished.
Capability wise, tough call. Nature wise, Tarkus ain't taking no prisoners. Logan is outta luck

This is gonna be hard.
Tarkus: The allmighty leader of the Benerike Knights, able to **** a giant iron golem and kill a few invaders while you are afk.
Big Hat Logan: Mad "scientist mage" who seeks knowledge and always finds a way to get himself trapped.
My vote goes to Tarkus. Logan probably just uses Glass Cannon's tactics but thats nothing against a guy who wields a sword almost bigger than himself. He can mid-roll so its easy to avoid Logans spells and give him some iron. Plus, Logan is just an incompetent wise man. Poor Logan.
I love both characters, but tarkus ftw.
CRYSTAL WHAT, DUDE? DO YOU EVEN LIFT?

Tarkus would win. He has a mid-roll which can dodge Logan's magic and a well placed swing from Tarkus' sword would smack Logan dead in one hit.

I was pretty sure Tarkus had fat roll? I'm sorry but this one is definitely in Logans favor. He may be physically weaker and not used to combat, but as someone said already: "Tarkus takes no prisoners" and Logan's one true weakness are definitely prisons
Tarkus is strong and has a shield, but both his armor and shiled have crap magic resistance. That along with his >50% fat roll would mean he would get destroyed by crystal magic before he even got close enough to touch Logan.

Logan probably hits a stone in the arena, falls and sticks his catalyst in an eye.
Srsly, Logan doesnt look prepared for combat. Hes a wise, not a battlemage. I know he has very powerful magic but Tarkus can overwhelm him easely.

I'm just going to ask this: How many of us died to Tarkus? How many died to Logan?

I dunno about the 'just a glass cannon' being bad. When I use my glass cannon mage, I always win against heavy armor and big weapons, simply because I keep distance and they are too slow. Especially if they are fatrollers
On the other hand, Tarkus is a big threat to invaders, but I think when Logan goes insane, he's not that big of a deal. Tarkus can take a lot of hits

It might be me but I've never fought with Tarkus or Logan. I've never invaded with him summoned, and I never freed/let Logan live long enough for him to go Hollow.

I've never fought Tarkus (since I don't often invade at Sen's) but I have fought Logan a few times. And never died. Even on my first playthrough when I chose defense over speed and was still using my broadsword. I use the Black Iron armor almost exclusively and while casters can hurt me they often don't get that second (or third or fourth) chance to kill me. I'm not saying all casters are bad or I can't be killed by casters but the Black Iron armor protects well enough for an aggressive warrior to close the gap and stunlock. If I can stunlock player's in Logan's outfit with my Great Scythe I imagine that Logan will be looking down Tarkus' sword dumbfounded for the majority of the ten second fight.
EDIT: I forgot to mention too that I always summon Tarkus after my first solo victory over the Iron Golem. He's one of the few NPC's that I've seen actually dodge attacks on a regular basis. (Although I've only summoned Lautrec once). Anyway....Tarkus is aggressive but he's not taking a hit he doesn't have to.

Man. These battles never go the way I think they would.
