Solaire for Gwyn

Hey guys. I've got a question.
I don't think I remembered to talk to Solaire at the bonfire in Anor Londo (invasions kept preventing me!), but I spoke to him at the Sunlight Altar later. If I summon him for the centipede and open the Izalith shortcut to save him, will I still be able to summon him for Gwyn? Or did I screw it up by missing him in Anor Londo?

You should be fine, I never talked to him in anor londo in my first run, or at the sunlight altar for that matter, but I was still able to save him in lost izalith and summon him for gwyn.

I dont think its necessary for you to talk to him to unlock his summon signs for all those boss fights, the only thing you are missing is awesome dialogue with the most epic Sunbro there is

Actually, you NEED to speak to him at Sunlight Altar before Centipede. Confirmed through my experience(tried to summon him without properly finishing the first convo) and the other wiki.

Well I managed to save him this playthrough. So I hope he's there for Gwyn later on. I screwed up Sieglinde and Siegmeyer again though! So many things to remember... I wish there was a walkthrough just for completing all NPC storylines, summons, and invasions (or as many as possible without conflict). I always forget about Kirk somewhere too.

I guess you have to talk to him in Anor Londo

You need to complete all his dialogue chains in all his locations to move him along his quest chain.

Just follow the steps and he should survive Lost Izalith and we can all...

I saved him at Lost Izalith, but because I didn't talk to him at Anor Londo (I assume -- I think I caught him everywhere else) he still didn't appear before Gwyn.
