Well, you can actually do it, it's not so hard and can be done in a two hours. You can get like 10+ Ring of Sacrifices with ease, or you can ask for trade. As long as you have it equipped when you die, you won't lose the bloodstain.

It can be tested. Die in Firelink Shrine, kill Gwyn and get to FS again and see if the stain is there, or no.

Rings of sacrifice might work, but I don't think it'd be worth it. I can just imagine fighting the 4 Kings with only the Covenant of Artorias and a Ring of Sacrifice on... I think you'd just end up exhausting your rings.
Your best bet, at this point, is to let it go! If you soul-suck all the NPCs, use the firekeeper souls, and you collect all the humanities in the playthrough, it's not hard to be at 99 again by the end of it. The 10 mil souls, though, are gone. But if you had that many to begin with, it means you weren't using them!

I'm on NG+9 So getting 10M Souls ain't the biggest deal...99 Humanity is always a ***** for me...

If it's like that, than go kill a few bosses and since you're a jester, go use that DW skills and you will have it back in a few days work at best.

No, really: 6 firekeeper souls (4 if you don't want to kill any firekeepers; 7 if you kill them and let Lautrec kill Anastacia) x5 humanity each, plus soul-sucking NPCs (Petrus, Reah, Vince and Nico have, I think, 30 humanity just among the 4 of them; Patches has a lot too), plus the humanity scattered everywhere as loot and those you get from bosses; you can get to 99 in one playthrough without even farming.
