If I fed the ring to frampt is there someway I can get it back I didn't think it was important when I played earlier

Oh, I read it on some gaming site and thought it was true.

Wait... Kill Gwynevere, and then if you request absolution, you should be able to join the darkmoons. Go fight and lose to Gwyndolin once just to make sure the Gwyn's statue has disappeared though.
