    Special Move Weapons

    I really love how Demon's and Dark souls made special weapons with special moves that are magic and devastating in nature. EX: Storm King which summoned a pillar of cutting wind from the blade extending its reach to kill the flying sting rays, The Moonlight Great sword with its R2 move of sending a slicing moonlight explosion out from the sword and the Obsidian Sword that stabs into the ground emitting a circle of black flames around the wielder.

    I want to see more of these that can actually be used for PVP and PVE. I know the use of the weapons Durability was the cost for these special movesets but i think that should change to a smaller amount because I mean THEY ARE FREAKIN COOL I would use the obsidian sword more if it didn't die on me every time I wanted to look badass lol

    what are some other weapons with special move sets you would like to see ?

    I want to see a sword that maybe can enchant itself or something of the sort

    I like the DSS's pew pew lighting bolt. I just can't help but laugh every time I use it.

    So maybe this time we can have a pew pew icicle!

    The mlgs 2hr2 is evil in pvp if its aimed unlocked. Its gfb for int, but faster.

    The dragon king greataxe is decent too. A bit on the weak side for an ultra great weapon, but the 2hr2 aoe is strong and if the axe is buffed, the extra buff damage is applied to it too.

    I think it would be cool if we were able to customize our favorite weapon with particular animations/movesets, within reason of course (i.e., a mace cannot be used like a spear, as that would be counterproductive....unless it had a spike on the end i guess. anyways, i digress, sorry!). Upgrade weapon X or Y on a certain upgrade path, and then different possibilities are created. Make it like the Gestures menu, only obviously much shorter list. But, i do realize that is highly, highly improbable. Probably even a dumb idea really. lol

    i like it lol maybe have a customize option for an upgrade path that changed the forward R2 move from a regular leaping attack to a special move of the upgrade element EX: crystal weapons now do a move like the golems when they slam down creating an AoE crystal expansion on te ground or just a straight crystalized sword swing like they do where your weapon gets crystals on it adding damage and range for that swing

    Boom goes the dynamite! haha! Yep, that's kinda the stuff i'm thinking of that you mentioned! Give us a few choices with each upgrade path. Maybe even make it so it not OP, and that you have to have the associated spell or miracle you want the weapon to emulate in your inventory? For instance if i weant my Divine Zweihander to Vow of Silence for it R22H, then i must have found it first. And be able to use the miracle/spell in the first place. And cannot stack it.
    Wow i digress here, eh? sorrys. hehe

    you're talkiong kind of like how skyrim's enchanting works * you have to disenchant an item with the enchantment so you can use thtat enchantment on any weapon you want* I'm talking more like the upgrade path is what gives you the options for the moves

    No, i don't mean using the enchanting the wep with the spell, i just meant you have to have found it to utilize it. I just threw in the can't stack it, as it might end up OP if you could cast the same spell as your wep uses. more like a ban. And it would have to also be the upgrade path that unlocks it, like you said. Couldn't use the WOG or VOS, TWOP with the crystal upgrade path obviously. But you could use the Crystal Golem's smash and macefist thing with the Crystal Path.
    Really, i'm just talking out my *** here. In an nutshell, i want to be able to utilize the moves that some of the enemies use, as well as apply the movesets and animations of different player weapons to the weapon i like to use.

    While I agree they are awesome, this is a low-magic setting. If every weapon did that, then it'd just turn into the usual; the big, flashy moves will lose their appeal. I think that if the number of weapons with 'special' moves are increased, then they should be toned WAY down except for a few high-level artifact-weapons.

    Exactly. I'm more just wanting the actual choice. Customizing your r1, r2, etc. animations is more what i really want to be able to do really, as i think more uniqueness throughout the gamesphere can only be a good thing. i want to be fused to a particular weapon or three, not changing them like underwear throughout the entire game.
