You as an NPC?

If your character was an NPC, where would it be, what would it say and would it be a merchant or not? Maybe it would have a story quest?

My NPC would be in a hidden spot in firelink shrine that sells cracked eye orbs.

If only you were an NPC, LunarFog!! Then at least i could DW without having to defeat the 4 kings They're one of the most annoying bosses IMO.

If I were an NPC I'd probably sell tonnes of rubbish. Ad with tha rubbish comes a cryptic tip and after buying 10 rubbish (all costing extraordinary prices) you'd get a sorcery called AAARRGHHHHH which increases magic defense/offense by 20% for a minute, after buying 30 rubbish AAAARGHHHHH's duration is extended and after buying 80 rubbish, I'd throw you off a cliff, take all your spells and disappear forever. And if you kill me, gravelord phantoms will infect one part of your world indefinitely.

My guy would be a weapons master. He appears in a random location every time you start the game, and he sells you random weapons and titanite. If talked to, he will drop hints on certain weapons. He also invades you sometimes to test your skill. He uses all kinds of weapons.

He would hate magic though. A lot. He would be a staunch enemy of Logan, and his twist was to die eventually at the Dukes Archives by a hollowed-out Logan if you haven't killed Logan yet.

He would have a beard.

I would totally be some guy who shows up on bridges and in Sen's fortress, asks the chosen undead crazy-*ss questions and casts force when he gets them wrong. Monty Python style

I would be a very small guy, that stands close to the well in Firelink, and sells pendants, lots of pendants. And if you talk to me, I will tell you that pendants have a secret power. And if you ask my name I will tell you it's not important, most people forget it easily.

My main character would be a girl who you save from titanite Demons in the tar pits of Sen's fortress (where you find the Scythe) and she would give the Scythe to you as a reward or she could drop it if killed.
Later you could summon her as a phantom to fight Priscilla for her to prove which Scythe is the best, haha!

I'd be standing outside of Priscilla's door wIth the Great Scythe, not to be outdone by any other scythe.

In all seriousness, I'd be standing in the same room as the merchant in Steel armor at the top of Sen's. I'd steal all of his Greatswords, sell those, and give you fun little tidbits of information about Iron Tarkus.

My character would be the endgame boss, who's a complete disappointment.

My character would be tall (almost twice as tall as Chester), cloaked (black), masked (mask has the Dark Sign on it). He would appear in an area and grave lord infect it until you found and hit him. If you take too long another area will be infected. If you go into Firelink there would be a new area to actually fight the man who uses poison, toxin, and curse. Winning will give you you absolutely nothing besides keeping him in that area, preventing him from randomly infecting. Outside the door is his mask. The mask is actually an item that will infect and uninfect whatever area you are in, allowing us to start the game with all areas gravelorded.

My NPC would gravelord Firelink. And when you find his sign (hidden at the bottom of the well) and invade. He would take one look at you, shake his head and turn into a unicorn.

Also, his name would be Grand Master Ponce.

I would be found in the NPC area of dark root forest, but up the other end (where all the mushrooms are). Dressed in green camoflage, with a ring of fog on and very difficult to make out from the background.

I would sell ring of fog, and a range of invisable weapons, as if they always have hidden weapon cast on them, AND modded versions of some of the early sets of armour (balder, elite knight, sorcerer set) to be camoflaged green/brown for forest and snow camo too.

If you bought everything i had for sale, I would invade at royal wood and stalk the host with an invisable dragon slayer bow. I would drop a cloak of concealment which is a super light weight chest piece that has the effect of ring of fog (saving you a ring slot)

wow great characters. mine would be a simple NPC, one who is either found laying in the sun at firelink shrine, or reading a book in another area, depending on where you are. at firelink i'd give you tidbits of information regarding its current inhabitants, assuming you come and go at least once after they arrive. my character would also help beings such as engyi(i dunno how to spell it) and the Knight in front of priscilla's room(i'd probably be inside) to dissuade you from killing the one being protected, as well as other female characters, at least those un-able or unwilling to fight you. every once in a while i may give a weapon(simple, no boss weapons) or piece of armor(same as weapons), or a random item, from rubbish to an orb to anything else(aside from boss souls). it would be a simple character, with a penchant for observing others, being generous, and protecting fair damsels.

he would also be fairly powerful, for one who sits in the sun all day, doing % damage to you rather than numerical. he would ask you to yield once you get to a fatal point, and if you do, he'd lay down or sit back down to continue reading, unless you attack again, in which he will no longer hesitate to kill you. after spawning he would no longer be hostile, but attacking again will provoke the response "must i beat this lesson into you again?". the same process repeats till you either kill him(he'd be fast so thats assuming you actually hit him), or just stop trying. on death he'd say "HA, you're quite the interesting one!" as if he were not even worried about his death

A warrior monk who wields the Lucerne and helps you throughout the game, giving you advice and such, until he asks you to help kill pinwheel. In this case, he summons you when you drop your white sign in the cats and you kill Pinwheel together. When you go into the Tomb, he's become evil and gravelords you, you have to invade him in the room before nito and kill your friend.

Never cared much about the DW covenant in the first place. Although, If I sold the stones for a high price(Maybe 5-10k each) then I'd be helping people invade, and all you DarkWraiths out there can still feel important too.

my npc would just stand there until you approached him than stab you in the face because that's how i roll. if he was a merchant i would sell humnity, and other cov related items

I would be a creepy guy, like Oswald, but would appear randomly in your game from time to time. If you talk to me you would have the option to buy something that appears on an enemy in the area I'm currently in. This means my inventory changes when my location changes.

You also have the option to fight me in a duel to the death. If you heal, then I teleport to your back, kill you, and say, "No healing please *creepy laugh*". If you attack without talking then I do the same thing, but I'll say, "You're supposed to warn me before attacking *creepy laugh*". If I die I will reappear later. How I died doesn't change anything.

I'd be an awesome looking knight of obvious royal background that requires saving multiple times and moans about a mission, you learn to like me and become sympathetic and protective of me after the many times you have to save me, but ultimately I end up going nuts after learning some kind of truth and you have to fight me.


Oh wait...

I would be a sorcerer that always had one homing soulmass and one pursuer on him at all times. Instead of exploding on you they would only hit you back and/or call you names (they'd be brother and sister). I would wear the mask of the child and would pull pranks on you that would make patches go bananas. The character would invade in places, but instead of attacking he would do things like close the gate by the mecha boar, revive the channeler in the depths (only when the boss is being fought), oh and he'd crash the moon into the earth in 3 days.
