Question regarding hosting

I've asked this about twice before but never gotten a clear answer so i'm gonna have a go at it again.

If i'm hosting for PvP, can i be at any SL and still get a good frequency of invasions?

EDIT: Like can i be at SL300 or something and people can still invade me?

In a word: No.

You can only connect with people, whether you're summoning or invading, if they're within 10 levels+ 10% of your level. So how frequently you get invaded depends on how many people are invading in that area and at that soul level.

You should try the forest though. I hear that forest invaders completely ignore level.

Anyone below you can invade you, and anyone 10% + 10 levels from your SL can invade you. If you keep your sin up, you'll also open the door for Darkmoons.

Technically, the higher level you are the more invaders you can possibly get while hosting, but I think it is possible that the system tries to pair people of similar level. Most people invade at SL 125 or below, so I wouldn't suggest going over that.

I have a SL 300+ on both Xbox and PS3 and I get invaded as much as I want, so in my experience, yes you can get a good frequency of invasions.
When I die/get defeated, I rate a few messages or use the dried finger and get invaded almost immediately again...
