    While going into the catacombs at SL7, I managed to outrun the skeletons like normal while grabbing some souls and items. While standing still looking at the Pinwheels I noticed the glowing eyes of a Skeleton, and then a weapon trail without any actual creature there. Taking the moment to capture, I did a few tests with it off and on camera. I noticed it could go through the walls, and was not bound to normal vertical movement. In all rights, it acted like a New Londo ghost. However, when it attacked I would of course take bleed and physical damage. I could block it, and with my bare fists I could punch it like a normal skeleton. I have no idea what caused the glitch.

    This was on the PS3 version of Dark Souls with the most up to date patch and AotA installed.

    Has anyone else ever had this happen to them when playing? I've personally never encountered this before.

    and the suddenly, i hate the catacombs a whole lot more.

    I'm currently getting ravaged by skellies in the catacombs in ng+. Guess my Divine Falchion isn't up to the job.

    I often encounter this bug when I kick skeletons off the top before dropping down to where you summon leeroy.

    Really the first run through the catacombs is the hardest. In NG+ you can come back with a fully upgraded divine weapon and a good bow, then clearing it is no problem.

    But really, just a good bow can let you get through the entire catacombs without a divine weapon. As long as you snipe the necromancers, which can almost all be shot without having to actually reach them, besides the frustrating one at the end which hides behind a pair of archers. Even that necromancy can be killed with a suicide attack, then once you come back, everything stays dead. Thats how I got my int build through without any divine weapons anyhow.

    A bow could possibly help with a floating skeleton as well silly
