    PREPARE TO CRY..

Post by Gawain on Thu Jan 10, 2013 2:05 am

The legend of Artorias the Abysswalker:

Slaying Sif, only to find out later who Sif and Artorias was... Probably the most heartbreak I've felt from a game.

I'll start feeling bad for them again once I beat Arty, he's been giving me a tough time silly

I love fighting Arty, especially 1v1, but I must say that he has the highest toll when it comes to dead hosts for me. Unless we spell spam him, it's usually just a matter of time until he says "F*ck you!", starts ignoring phantoms and outright slaughters the host.

    Cheers to Arty!

I always fight bosses by myself for the first time, so I can get the most out of it! My very first complete runthrough had me running around like Tarkus and fighting every boss alone.

Moonlight butterfly was hell. Not kidding.

On topic, Arty was and is so much fun to 1v1.

VaatiVidya and OnlyAfro are pretty much the only Dark Souls youtubers I watch these days.

You guys are lucky Arty didn't have his shield. Now that's a scary thought.

The very thought of fighting Artorias in his prime frightens yet excites me.

    I watched the whole series.
It's named Prepare to Cry for a reason.

This all makes me feel that the player is a big a$$hole in the world of Lordran and perhaps the antagonist as well.
