Is the Chaos Blade any good?

I mean it's slower than the Iato (my personal favorite), and the Crystal Iato +5 at 40 DEX does only 10 damage less than the Chaos Blade. And you know... it's heavier and eats your health with every hit...

Talking from a level 100 perspective.

Yeah, and it's not slower than the Iaito. The WP is still up in the air as to speed, but the CB is a great weapon. It's also longer than the Iaito and has a nasty habit of hitting people out of rolls if they roll to the side. The HP drain isn't significant unless you just wail on a turtle.

Why would you ever make a Crystal Iaito +5? or any level of crystal for that matter? There's got to be some sort of law against that.

it depends... high heath GO FOR THAT SWORD. med health, well. if your good then get on that sword, low heath....may as well equipt the calamity ring and RTR

Is it any good? YES

Chaos Blade, does more damage (if you have Humanity), has more reach and has the same speed as other katanas (-Washing Pole, which is slower than the rest). It's R2 are almost useless, I'm saying almost, because they can be used, but require a great deal of skill to land and not get bs punished.

Plus, it seems to build up bleed faster.

Plus its sexy as hell.

Yes i think it has the highest bleed build up in the game (not sure if Gold Tracer has higher..)

The Gold Tracer bleeds faster in my opinion. Most people will bleed on the fourth stunlock hit from the Gold Tracer, but not always from the Chaos Blade, though perhaps it's a factor of the Chaos Blade not stunlocking that long. Either way, you'll bleed more people out with the GT whether the actual buildup is higher or not.

Chris Bosh is actually a pretty decent Dark Souls player too, little known fact.

reasons i like it.

A. looks
B. best range (besides washing pole)
C. Most damage unbuffed (i hate buffs)
D. Fastest bleed build up
E. 20hp Drain (awesome for activating RTSR)
F. Can't be bothered with 6 durability crystal weapons, i play for fun not to make insane amounts of weapons to use for 2-3 fights.

he should work on his rebounding first, Lebron shouldn't be leading the team in scoring, assists, and rebounds.

LeBron also checks in the crowd entering the games for contraband, and does it better than the arena security. He can do anything better than anyone, I won't hold it against anyone for not being as good at LeBron in something - especially someone who is playing out of position.

the only thing that builds up the bleed meter faster is the lifehunt scythe in my experience, the only reason i don't use it is because i hate katana's of all sorts and this ones become very popular largely due to "some guy's" use of it.

I believe it has to do with buffs vs non buffs. I see less and less invaders and hosts using buffs these days, so makes sensetto go chaos blade if you don't buff.
