This thread makes me wish I hung out with my friend with a 6 year old sister more often so I could be a Brony.

Why would you need to hang out with little girls to be a brony? If it's a matter of being seen watching the episodes, most of us watch them on youtube (Hasbro isn't very strict with taking videos down because they're basically free advertising for the toy lineup, which is where Hasbro makes most of their money) so you don't need a little girl with you to avoid embarrasment since you can watch them in complete privacy on your computer. In all honesty though, to be a brony you need only 2 things in my opinion:

    1. You must accept and abide by the ideal of "love and tolerate"
    2. You must enjoy the culture (comics/animations/memes/etc) that comes from the show

You don't need to watch or even like the show itself, as long as you embrace the culture around it happy

Heh, it's not a matter of being seen watching them as much as I think it would be the only way I'd actually sit through an entire episode.

I do appreciate the code (reminds me of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humanism of which I am quite the fan), as well as enjoy all the references I see on here, though. So perhaps I qualify as an amateur?

    Still, I sat through two

today (on the Hub, no less, DJ), so I think my avatar is quite appropriate.

Yeah they do! It's the original animated series...sometimes episodes are from later seasons and such (where the animation was slightly different), but on the whole it's the real deal.

The site says M-F @ 5:30, but today there were definitely two on back to back.

We may have to start a comics thread lest this one goes off-topic. That's something I can go on length about and I'm fighting the urge to do so right now!

What's not to get, it's a thread to talk about My Little Pony on a Dark Souls forum.

Smile, Smile, Smile is officially the second best song from the show in my book (still doesn't beat Winter Wrap-up since that one has everyone singing winking)
