I've had really good experience with this controller and thought I would pass it along to anyone who might be thinking of purchasing a new controller for Dark Souls.
Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love the xbox controller and have since it came out. There is nothing wrong with using the xbox controller but theres a feature on the Razer Onza that will let you run while keeping your thumbs on the thumb sticks, which helps prevent alot of camera related deaths.
Now not only does this controller feel like a "real" controller, meaning it feels well made and with quality snap action switches for the A, B, X, and Y buttons that are also led backlit, it also has a really cool and useful feature that lets you map any two buttons to the extra bumper buttons, hence being able to run while controlling the camrea. The new bumpers are located above Lb and Rb named LMFB and RMFB witch I assume mean left map-able front button and right map-able front bumper. All you need to do to map a button is press and hold the corresponding button on the back-side of the controller then while holding that button press the button you would like to map. There are two buttons on the back. One for each side, the one on the right side is for the RMFB and the left for the left.
It isnt this amazing thing that will let you destroy players in PVP or anything, it definitely isnt cheating or cheap. It just is a nice feature that alot of people would probably like to have as an option. So if your planning on buying a controller for your PC version of Dark Souls, then consider the Onza from Razer, it is well made and functions better than any other 3rd party controller that I've ever used, looks pretty frikkin cool as well. It also has adjustable thumb sticks, which I found to be kinda nice. I actually have my right thumb stick set to have more resistance than the left.
