Iron Round Shield

So I've been looking at possibly upgrading one of these. Currently I use a tower shield +15 because I love having heavy deflection and high stability.

However it would be nice to parry, so why not make this shield to keep my heavy deflection and have the ability to parry?

Anyway, has anyone made a +15 version of this shield? If so, does it work well? I mainly just do PvE playthroughs with the occasional invader. My main concern is that I'm too used to having a huge stability, while this would only have 68.

Pretty sure it already does parry... and I think Stability caps off at +14.

It'll get the job done, you can take about two or three strong hits, so long as they're not too strong. Just remember to attack/backstab or let shield down in between blocks so your stamina can recover.

i use this shield on my high lvl character, i think it's a great shield and very much worth it to upgrade it. but yes just like sloth said, it would be wize to let your stamina recover in between hits. outside of that this shield in my opinion is very reliable.

EDIT: however, i think i've noticed, haven't investigated it fully or anything but i think it will pretty much force you to mid roll...or fat roll depending on your load but, on my high lvl i've put on really light gear and still had that shield in my hand and i still mid rolled. but if you've been using a large shield anyways that wont matter

EDIT: ok, i jus messed around with it alittle more, i have 56 endurance and i was able to fast roll with some really light gear but i also had the zwiehander in my hand but none the less you would be able to fast roll, my bad.

I can fast roll wearing just about anything in the game lol. My limit for staying at max mobility is 62.9 dat 99 endurance
Currently I use a fully upgraded tower shield and the steel set with a black iron helm and I still have room for 12 pounds of weapons in my right slots.
Basically its about having the ability to parry without losing my heavy deflection.

then the round shield will fit nicely, i like the round shield for it's heavy deflection and lighter wieght compaired to the heavy shields, i dont parry to often lol
