    I've seen them. I never knew Siegmeyer was doomed no matter what option you took though.

    I kept him alive though? I didn't find him dead in ash lake anyway.

    Don't talk to him in firelink, that should keep him alive right? You are the cause of all NPC's deaths, you and your curiosity.

    Or you can just kill the chaos demons before you talk to him in izalith

    Still dies, if you finish the quest-line. You're supposed to talk to his daughter eventually.

    According to the wiki, the questline just ends after you kill the demons. He gives you the ring and its over. And even then I managed to talk to his daughter even before izalith.
