Star Trek vs. Star Wars

Wow. uhhh did you guys miss me? Did you even notice that I wasn't around? does it even matter? anyways I saw Star Trek into darkness in the theatres some time ago and have fallen in love. I never thought I would ever say this but I have begun to like Star Trek more than I like Star wars. seriously if you haven't see this movie I highly recommend doing so, its a blast.

So I just wanted to see some of your guys opinions.. I feel like im going to be the only one putting my vote in for Star Trek, but you never know.

I missed you guys even if you didn't miss me during my 2 week absence.

The idea of star trek just isn't as good.

I havent seen into darkness, should do soon. And I'm looking forward to it

But yeah, have to say starwars. Its one of the, if not THE most influential film trilogy ever

Yeah Star wars was one of the biggest explosions in film ever, I like all of them with the exception of the one with Liam Neeson (although I do like Liam Neeson) that one was a joke and a half.

Into Darkness was really great. I find these two series very different even if there in the same genre. There is a lot more variety in between them than people think.

I have read over forty books, read various comics, played literally almost every Star Wars game ever aside from a few I can't get my hands on, I've got action figures. I love Star Wars, I also enjoy Star Trek Next Generation.

But why does it need to be a fight, they're both good series.

Though I don't like the new Star Wars Movies or Clone Wars CG show, or the new Star Trek Movies either.

Who said this was a fight? I just wanted to see what other people prefer. im not implying that one is worse that the other, just that I like one more than the other.

Star Trek! Really, I agree that both are great, but I've been a life-long Trek fan. I've seen a lot of the original series, watched The Next Generation and Voyager several times through each, watched all of Deep Space 9 once, Enterprise once (but that series didn't last as long), and I have a lot of the movies. Star Wars is considered one of the best movie series ever, but Star Trek has spanned decades worth of amazing TV series.

The recent reboot movie was great, and I can't wait to see Into Darkness! I've been meaning to see it since it came out, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Star Wars.

I've only seen two of the Star Trek movies one being the second newest one and then the Wrath of Khan which was an awesome movie. Yet, I still enjoy Star Wars much more.

Star Trek, no doubt, for me.

I like both series but I do perfer Star Wars a bit more then Star Trek. I will say Into Darkness was great though.

im a trek guy. iv watched all of both, and thats saying something when it comes to star trek lol. I love the mysteries they encounter in the star trek universe, its like a combination between Sherlock Holmes and Macgyver.
