Chester mentions "Juniper"

I talked to Chester, died at Arty, and talked to him again. He said the line "Oh, for Juniper's sake. Put some spring into your step! Mwah hah hah!"
Who would this Juniper be?
Or am I just being stupid and it's just a saying?

You've got to remember how important plant life, especially trees, are to these people. They are highly ingrained in their culture and religions, shields exhibit this greatly. While it isn't a saying to my understanding, in their world it could easily be a simple phrase.

It seems to be a general thing of the world, due to the arch trees.

And don't forget the 'Bed of Chaos' is a tree. A totally hyperactive, mad tree but a tree just the same. Maybe it's a Juniper tree although Junipers are conifers and the Bed of Chaos must be deciduous because it doesn't have any leaves, well I don't remember seeing any, only flames and stuff.

It is possible that the fire within it has burned away the leaves though. The bed of chaos seems to be similar in nature to the archtrees.

A quick wikipedia search led me to Saint Juniper the quote is above. Maybe it's a reference to a saint, or maybe just Chester's jester, if you think of him as aristocracy, his sayings would be seen as universal, maybe he had a jester called Francis and he made that saying for how ridiculous Juniper was. Or maybe I'm being completely stupid about it all and looking at this in the wrong way. Meh

I believe in one of ENB videos a guy mentioned that Juniper means Gwynevere. I might be mistaken, though

While that doesn't make a whole lot of sense in the lore, it could be reference. Or just something unexplained in the lore as another name for her. I doubt this possibility, but it's still a possibility.

I always thought it was just off-beat expression. Similar to "Jumping junipers, Batman!" :o

Could be a god/goddess that we hadn't known of until that point. Since we don't have a holy book with them all named, they could have innumerable deities.

Gwynevere was a fairly common name I believe. Juniper could be to gwynevere as Alex is to Sasha
