so i have been dragoning up in the township lately and while most of the time i just sit there waiting for some sort of invade, i occasionally get someone who is up for the duels. now i haven't been doing this long but 100% of the people wanted a clean fight, it was the best thing i have seen in ages.

Dragon fights can be great, the problem is that sometimes the waits can be brutal.

i tried staying human as a dragon bro while attempting to duel in the township, i had a constant stream of invaders and didn't get the chance to be summoned to a duel for scales. it seemed like most of the invaders weren't interested in fighting, just running off to hide amongst the mobs or try to get that OHKO with a quick backstab or dark bead or some such. it was kinda nerve wracking.

This is why the developers should have allowed Dragon bros to INVADE hosts.

Usually if I summon a dragon bro for a fight, I'll not only try to fight cleanly, but I'll usually drop any dragon scales I might have before the fight. If I'm not using my dragon toon then chances are I don't really need them anyway. I'd encourage other people to do that as well. Farming drakes sucks. It's good karma to help people out when you can

I think it might actually be faster to farm the drakes than duel for scales, being a Dragonbro takes forever.

It's very rare to find a dragon eye with a real dragonoid. A lot of people use the eye just to get gank-free PvP. And most people who summon dragons are also nice.
I always summon and drop scales to people who have their eye down. But i usually ask if they need the scales or not before i drop them silly

But i gave up on using the eye long ago, it's way too slow for me.

Or you could become a dragon bro, level up in the covenant until you get the torso stone, then become a dark wraith or a darkmoon. You don't need to be in the dragon covenant to use the stones I don't think

True. They really should have given the dragon bros a means of invading. It's kind of silly that they didn't

I always try and summon a Dragonbro.
I try to drop any spare Scales (but some ignore the item, perhaps they think it's a trap) that I got on me. Yesterday, I dropped 21 Scales to one guy. I hope to see him in Dragon Form the next time we meet. big grin

9/10 that I've summoned fought real well and honestly.
They usually pack some serious skills with them and won't do anything "dishonorable, or unfair", even if I have an advantage.

I've tried being a Dragonbro before and actually did got my 30 Scales like this, although it took me a century, or two. happy

The problem with them isn't that you can't summon them while you have other players in your game, but also when you are getting invaded. Invasions seems to have higher priority than summoning a Dragonbro, so when I tried to summon one and someone tried to invade me, the invader had priority, which sucks.

i wish i was summoned by either of you two…i could really use the scales atm.

i drop my dragon sign right next to various bonfires as i'm trying to clear the zone or when i'm farming for whatever. i've learned to do this while i'm hollow so i don't get invaded by players just looking for some fast humanity and grief.

sometimes i feel bad for the host after they summon me as a dragon, especially since i seem to outclass them (gear wise) for the most part. some seem to even be confused, sometimes i think they were expecting help not an invader. i will take it easy on these folks, i won't buff, i'll let them heal and what not. i can usually guess when i've been summoned by a dark wraith who was between invasions, i have no mercy for them. but when i do get summoned by a dedicated PVPer, i invariably get my *** handed to me.

what i don't get is why i get indicted 2 out of 3 invasions as a dragon bro?

Indicting Dragonbros is kind of strange and I still don't understand why is it there, especially since you can't indict RSS.
