Game Ending

If I beat the game can I go back and free roam? Or do I have to start at level 1 again?

Neither. You're sent back to the beginning of the game, but with everything you had before beating the final boss.

The only thing you don't keep are keys, I think. Everything else, you keep.

Your Level stays as well.

So basically i would replay the game and fight all the bosses all over again? Or should I wait to fight the last boss and go around trying to do other things?

Yeah, you start over and do it all over again, except this time it's harder. You probably should do everything you want to now before you kill the final boss.

The game is also harder the second time you do it. This is called NG (first game), NG+ (when you've beaten it once), NG++ (when you've beaten it twice) and so on.

You can roam around the world and pick up items/spells you haven't taken yet if you want. Then you can go to NG+ and fight everything again

Yup, they are pretty helpful.

Also, in case you are wondering why you would want to do this, the more NG+s you go to, the more spells/titanite Slabs/stuff in general you can pick up.

Also, leveling in NG+ is a TON easier than NG.

You lose all your embers and have to find them again also. So if there's a weapon you're in the process of making be sure to finish it up before you finish the game, or you may have to wait awhile before you can.

one of the best things to do is famr the black knights in the kiln for chunks, youre gonna need as much as you can get. or enough to upgrade the weapons you want to upgrade.

I don't think the drop rate increase is correct.

The drop increase is not so.Although the soul increase is true...NG a un dead soldier will give you around 20souls I believe.On my SL394 save I am not sure what NG+ im on,lost count but the same un dead solider will give me just short of 500souls.As we know the drop rate increase will be more effective when human an not hollow.I think the amount of humantys you have also increases the rate.This though I am not sure.And of course you have the CGS (Covetous Gold Serpent) Ring to boost rate drop and the CSS (Covetous Silver Serpent) Ring to boost souls drop.....

There is the Black Knight armor in the area just before the final boss if that is what you mean. There are also the Elite Knight and Knight armors in the Darkroot Basin and Moonlight Butterfly Forest.

I have all those sets and have fought all the mini bosses as well...im just debating if it is time to go and fight the end boss and try new game +....the other thing is i never see anyone's summons sign and i am not hollowed...do many people not play?

It would probably depend on your Soul Level and the time you play at. I've been seeing signs in the Kiln from levels 125-160, but I'm pretty sure it has even more traffic between levels 60-100. Maybe try going to the dashboard and starting the game up again - you might be put into a more active server.

It would also help to play later at night or during the weekends.

At level 86 you'll probably only see summon signs in the last few areas. Specifically New Londo, the Demon Ruins, Lost Izalith, the Duke's Archives, the Tomb of the Giants, and the Kiln of the First Flame. You can only see summon signs if you haven't defeated the boss of that area yet though. Once you defeat the boss you can no longer summon in that area, but you can still both be summoned and invade.

The DLC areas too actually. People seem to be co-oping in those areas at all kinds of soul levels

make sure you get thorn set and darkwraith set, theyre both pretty good.
