Help with game recording software.

Can anyone help me out?
Here's the thing.. I don't have any good recording software. the ones I tried won't record audio and the ones that did only recorded about 30 seconds as they were trials.

Does anyone know of any good, free software?

So depending on how in depth you'd like to get I have a few suggestions for you.

First off, audacity is free and its wonderful. Its interface is dated but its free and is actually really good compared to other free software. With this you would have to record audio and video on seperate programs and put them together later.

I know there may be some free programs out there to record if you're on pc. I've heard of things like xfire that are free. A google search might be able to find it for you.

It's for PC, yes. I tried a few but non were good for me.. Im beginning to think a cracked Fraps might be in store for me.. /sigh

Cracked is never a bad option hahahahaha.

Gamestop sells recording interfaces that I would assume come with software for around $100 usd.
