Just admit it when you invade a world and get killed by 3 people you feel the that it's unfair and that they are doing something wrong that's the way the games played don't be cod douches and make up a word to make them out to be **** players they owned you get over it you can win a 3v1 it just take skills but if you lake them then you are more than likely have used the word "ganker" also If there is a chance for a 2v2 then I don't count it as such because there could be a fair 2v2 or at least the same odds ..... If anyone thinks they can beat a 3v1 add me on xbox360 TAZ6804

Ganking is using a prearranged situation (like numbers or stealth) to put the opponent at an extreme disadvantage.

Thats what you do, and thats why I call you gankers. You are people who gank.

I have no problem at all with people who do so and I don't consider it wrong, but it is what you're doing and so the label is appropriate. Swimmers swim, gankers gank. Deal with it or stop ganking.

(having a second player to stand by and fend off secondary invaders isn't ganking, but both of you rushing a lone invader is ganking)

EDIT: for the record, when people say ganker here, they're almost always refering to people who chill at spawnpoints in groups of 2 or 3 and systematicly gang **** invaders.

Stealthers are largely excluded from the term here because stealth in dks is difficult, and because they are relying on their own ability, rather than the abilities of others, to win.

It's a word, if you look at number four on there. That's the definition we tend to use.

that is not the way the game is meant to be played, if you think that then your playing it wrong. if you just happen to have 2 phantoms to help you complete a level well thats fine, but if your there to farm your nothing but a ganker and no one likes you....

He's making it out like we are the ones who made up the term. Gankers getting mad at non-gankers is pretty funny. Troll maybe?

Has a dev outright stated that this, entirely glitch free, method of play was not what they intended? If not, can you back up your claim with other facts?

As I see it, if they wished to force you to advance, or forbid ganking, theyd have implemented methods to stop it like the antistall swarms in left for dead or a time limit on summoned phantoms

As I said, I have no problem with gankers in dks, I would actually get bored more often if they left, which conclusively demonstrates that your "nobody likes you" statement is false.

As is in my signature, I recommend you have fun playing however you like within the actual programmed rules of the game and accept that other can and should do the same.

yes i understand what you mean, but i think it is safe to doubt that the developers intended it to get to the stage it is at. i can no longer get a good invade, most of the time when i am summoned they want me to gank.

Depending on the situation I have to agree with you there Forum. There have certainly been times that I've gotten frustrated fighting gankers. For example, I'm trying to get to DM + 3 right now only using SoR that I attain by winning DM invasions, and the other night these 3 guys were ganking in dark AL, and spamming WoG and DSS turtling at the spawn point. I couldn't seem to invade anyone other than them either. So there are definitely times that I find it irritating, but at the same time, there's nothing quite like invading to find 3 gankers waiting for you and taking all 3 of them out by yourself. I've only managed it a hand full of times, but it's wonderful when it happens. Either way I wouldn't wish it gone. However the consistently bad attitudes of people that often seem to do it I could do without.

Flame thread is flame. While I would love to hear further silver tongued eloquence, I will have to abide by the rules and lock this up.
