Cosmetic buffing removed? Empty Cosmetic buffing removed?

Post by MosquitoPower Fri Jan 04, 2013 12:30 am

I know im late the party on this one, but did they really patch the cosmetic resin buff glitch in the DLC patch?

The internets are completely silent on this! I have been playing another character all this time and when I went back to my old one… no more everlasting harmless fire on my claws! 🇳🇴

Is this some kind of grudge from the game designers against people who want that tiny glitchy fire effect on the great lords sword!?

It was a cool glitch. But, many people don't know that it is visual only. So, this would have really pissed them off to see a "buffed" weapon that is supposedly not buffable.

    Dang, that is too bad.
But thanks for the reply, I was beginning to think I imagined the entire thing because nobody seemed to notice it was gone =(

I can see how to someone that did not know it was harmless... a guy with a flaming poison sword with lighting would be intimidating to see running at you.

Not to go on and on, but it was such a simple thing to do, almost did not even seem like a glitch. No fancy button pushes or joystick movements, just un-equip the quick items and buff the weapon...

Oh well, maybe fire swords will actually be on fire in Dark Souls 2.
