nah, to brawny, kalameet is sleeker, not to mention a different color. plus it has eye sockets where normal eyes would be which kalameet doesn't have...

Its most likely the same class of dragon as kalameet. I doubt they would put him in this game since his battle is already in dark souls. Since I believe this game to be a prequel to the events of dark souls it seems likely we will see some dragons here and there

Some kind of back-story to the everlasting dragon would be kinda cool.

All dragons are everlasting. Seath keeps the one we see for experiments, because it's mutated or something and can't walk. Probably.

No Look at the post above me. He said It may be backstory to the everlasting dragon, but its not a prequel so it couldn't be. I should have quoted. My mistake.

Plenty of speculation, but the only other clams and hydra we see are where Seathe is/was involved. And I doubt the Lords would have let 1 everlasting dragon live for no reason

I think its more likely that the lords were unable to get to this dragon, or that they don't know this dragon is alive.

Also, hydras seem to apear where dragons have died. Seeing as this is a graveyard for dragons, and one apears where kalmeet dies, this makes sense.

The hydra does damage to the crystal golems which implies they are not in the same faction. Almost that the golemns are there to retrieve the hydra.

Also, the ash lake is not mentioned by anyone else in lordran which implies that it is a well kept secret. Not even logan knows about it.

It's pretty heavily implied by the Demon's skull, the broken Archtree/Archtree sapling, the location of Havel's Great Magic Barrier miracle, and the name Ash Lake that Ash Lake was a site of the fight against the Dragons and possibly the Izalith Demons. I don't think a seemingly crippled dragon would be misplaced in the middle of a battlefield.

Also, hydras seem to apear where dragons have died. Seeing as this is a graveyard for dragons, and one apears where kalmeet dies, this makes sense.
I would say this is a coincidence, but I understand the sword cuts both ways; my theory is just as vulnerable to coincidence.

This is plausible, but occam's razor blah blah they're probably all stupid animals/constructs. Neither the other golems nor the other hydra seem to have a 'purpose,' so to speak. And I'm not sure how a golem would retrieve a hydra.

This is true, but I'm not sure I understand how it is relevant.

The dragon doesn't seem crippled to me. I had always thought of it as more indifferent to what goes on around it than unable to do anything about it. I mean he is sitting up tall in a nest. He seems proud in appearance. Also, another reason I believe him to be indifferent rather than unable is because even if you attack him or try to cut off his tail, he still keeps you in his covenant.

I don't believe that it is a coincidence that the hydras apear where dragons die. I think that they are some sort of product of a dying dragon, but I can't prove this so there's no point in me pursuing it.

About the demon skull, it was my impression that the citizens of Isalith became the demons of isalith long after the war with the dragons. When the witch tried using a soul to recreate the first flame.

As for the havel miracle, perhaps one of the covenant members had found it. And was killed by another member for his scales.

I mentioned that it may be secret, because that would explain why no one had harmed the dragon. If it were secret.
