    Choosing the hand you character would use as his dominant hand. Like, if you choose right it's the same as DkS and DeS is now. If you chose left it would just switch the animations.

    I'd like it for more RP and you'd have to study your enemies/both PvP and PvE).

    Also, more things to change on your character all together, y'know? More hairstyles, heights, etc.

    More options is always great i dont see why that cant be added. Its weird playing zelda then playing a souls game. Dark Souls 2 needs beards and longer hair styles.

    Unlike many of you I only enjoy PvP in relatively small increments, as it gets boring fairly fast for me, facing the same enemy type over and over. So I'd like to see (at least I think I would) major characterization changes, even including the ability to make your character way large or small, and I'd like that to affect their abilities and limitations, and also affect what would and wouldn't work against them.

    For example, an 8-foot-tall, 450lb toon would be able to smash right through my parry attempt, and maybe I wouldn't be able to backstab him, and maybe his mass would give him inherent poise, but he'd be slow and have limited attack options or something.

    The possibilities are endless, and the replay value learning all the different body types/classes/whatever would exceed even Dark Souls. I'm sure most of us would have our main toons similar to what they are now, but it'd be cool to have some really unique ones to use and fight against when it starts getting stale.

    There are probably a million holes in the idea that make it unrealistic, but it sure would be great getting invaded and having no idea what to expect, whereas now it's pretty much simply dex, str, or spells, ad nauseum, and most everyone dancing around each other. *Jab, roll away, dance, dance, dance, jab, roll away, dance, etc....*

    I would like to keep the customisation aspects of DKS at a minimum.

    I like the dominant hand Idea. That would be cool to be able to switch up your sword and shield to a leftie. I tried DKS PvP like that and it really hard.

    Other than that I dont think I would like to see armour dyes and what not. I know that it would be cool to paint your own armour and equipment but I think you would see a heck of a lot of flourescent armours appearing and IMO that would ruin the Dark Gothic vibe.

    Dark Souls isn't entirely Gothic. (a German style not actually that similar to modern Goth) And I hope to see more color; quite different from what recent movies have depicted, Europe was actually quite colorful in it's garb. That being said, I hope there are only a few (though certainly more than in Dark) colorful pieces, and a lot more grey.

    I would disagree there.

    In my opinion, with all due respect to your own, I think dark souls should keep to its guns. Stand with a more tradition set of armour more akin to DeS which were dark and drab (or so I remember) I have no doubt the european soldiers wore some pretty outrageously vivid colour combinations, but I dont think that they would work as well in DKS II as in other games.

    In dragons dogma your characters size affected certain things like you mention, I believe it impacted speed, how much you can carry, things of that nature.... I havent even finished one playthrough of it yet, but it is really cool.

    I am in favour of as much customisation as possible, and I also like the idea of body type affecting ingame things like stamina depletion, poise and so on. I am also keen to see some more variant in armour, I would be happy to see some bright armour/weapon pieces. Could be cool. I think anything that can lead to more variety
    in the player base is great.

    Imagine the extreme customisation if size affected characters ingame+way more weapons and armour+something like weapon and armour augmentation+more variety in how your character can look in general. One thing I love about dark souls is seeing an opponent and thinking, just from looking at their gear, that I have this fight already and then something unexpected happens....their build is unfamiliar and I have a good fight or I get thrashed, it doesn't matter, I am just keen to see interesting and thoughtful builds. So I think the greater the options, the more variety=more fun

    I hope most of the armors are still black, grey or silver. Full-plate wasn't died; at most, it had a tabard over it. I just hope there is SOME color this time around for those who are interested in something other than black.

    I think a tabard would be amazing! In terms of armour matching that suggestion I always imagine Savan's set from the intro to Dragons Dogma. I loved that set, the sword, and the shield immensely.

    Thats why I say if they bring in armor dyes its got to be only real world colors. Steel, brass, gold, iron, ect.

    As for sizing, could they do a small-large setup? Sort of like the size difference between painting guardian and a Silver/Black knight.
    Each could use all the different weapons but they each use them differently.

    So a dagger for small guy is a throwing knife for big guy.
    A sword for small guy is a dagger for a big guy.
    Great sword is a slow for little guy and just like a regular sword for big guy.

    Dominant hand would be cool (being a lefty myself), and I'd like more hair options on characters, but beyond that I wouldn't add much customisation, body types shouldn't effect gameplay in my opinion and it would take away from the idea in souls any toon can turn into anything, which is why the level system is designed the way it is. It's not randomly decided that you can get to over level 700 you know.

    I'm cool with the dominant hand idea, hair styles I think we are doing pretty good on. I would love some beard options. Though of course 99% of the time you'll be wearing a helm anyway.

    Animation variety on weapons is something I'd be cool with, though that could easily cause huge balance problems and cause the meta-game to focus on very specific weapons.

    I also want them to improve on the faces they still look pretty riduculus and its kinda hard to make a cool looking character without armor on.

    Perhaps they can include only metallic colors for heavy/metal armors and others for light/cloth ones?
    And as much as I liked it in Dragon's Dogma, I really think size should only affect your appearance in Dark Souls. It just doesn't fit.

    Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but the hero in the trailer parries with his right hand and ripostes with his left at 1:25.

    But I am definately against the idea of diferent sizes having different strengths in game. Character Customization should really only change the way you look and the starting section of the game, not how your character plays.

    To me, being able to pick up any weapon and giving it a few test swings is really important for the game; I typically play a Quality build (40/40 big grin ), so being able to pick up a Katana and KNOWING what it will do helps me to decide if I want to make a Ninja character or not. Being able to pick up a Butcher Knife and know how it swings allows me to try to base a character off of that. I am wholly against "Fatties" using little weapons differently than "Skinnies".

    Having said that, if it was something along the lines of Average is the normal stat for the class, Large is +2 to Resistance, -2 to Endurance, and Small is +2 to Endurance, -2 to Resistance, I would be totally down for that sort of thing. Just none of the Fatties using Bandit's Knives as throwing daggers.

    I think the trailer has a strong "dual weapon" vibe. Or at least sujests the possibility of running a lefty.

    The demons great hammer is realistic and authentic? The dragon slayer great bow, the sword made of moonlight that shoots exploding lasers at people?

    I think adding if your character is left-handed or right-handed might change a few things in PVP. So I obviously want it to happen.

    More hairstyles would be better too, add hairstyles for women characters so you can have long hair. Maybe put in some older hair styles from Demon Souls too.

    Also one other thing, Beards. I want beards in this game I don't care if you want to put a beard on your female character, I want... no need to be able to put a long beard on my characters.

    You understand right? Right?

    All this talk about Dragon's Dogma makes me want to pop it in again and try to get back into it. It was very difficult to stay interested after a little while due to the fact that there are NO random creature encounters. They are all in the same exact place every single time! Everything else was pretty awesome, but I eventually got so bored that I couldn't even get started on my first Dragon Hunt quest. Does it get any better after that?
