WHY WILL NO ONE SUMMON MEEEE T_T

lonely little sorcerer at the O&S gates, lvl 40... I just wanna do some jolly co-op. ;-;
seems lately i have a lot of connection issues when being summoned, but non whatsoever when invading.

Try the bonfire after the archers, by the time people get to the gate they have two summons with them, either another player and solaire or two players. Although competition will be tough so make yourself stand out if only to change equipment when you are summoned, or be yourself and hope someone chooses you. They probably will.

I have the starter sorcerer set, with a longsword and a silver knight shield. u.u

I get summoned almost instantly at sl55 sitting at the start of the area before the rotating platform. If you put yourself in front of the fog you aren't likely to be summoned by anyone but gankers who want to farm darkmoon blades, and that just isn't too common below a certain level I find.

The hot spots in this area are on the bridge or near the 2nd bonfire after the archers like everyone else has said.

Well... maybe... um... I got nothing but I've been summoned naked with a club before so that has to count for something?

SL55 and SL60 are the best levels for invading and summoning in Anor Londo.

I don't care what they're wearing. At sl 186 I'm grateful if anyone's there.

Dafuq, man. Why? D: My Soul Spear is a force to be reckoned with! So are by soul masses!

I tend to summon people who look like they fit into preconceptions I have about Group Roles. I try to get one Mid or slower tanky lookin guy and if I'm not a caster myself a caster, if I am someone with a Dex weapon.

I feel a balanced party is essential.

Well, because being naked at that zone pretty much shows you know the game and you are confident, and I'll take that over gear any time.

You're right, but only up to a point. Last time I summoned for O&S, there was 1 naked guy, and a guy in full havels. The naked guy died in 1-shot (which didn't take that long), while I didn't have to heal the havels guy at all.

In addition to the starting stairs and 2nd bonfire, I enjoy finding other "hidden" summon spots in Anor Londo on my sl55s. Two other interesting ones:

1) Near the blacksmith. A fair number of hosts only open the side door gate for some reason, maybe to confuse invaders, so they cut through the blacksmith's area. And of course you can pick up folks doing a lot of shopping.

2) Just outside the main cathedral doors, near the 2 sentinels and pvp spawn site. You often get summoned by players doubling back after losing phantoms, or those who got chased out of the cathedral by invaders, in addition to folks in #1. Most of the weird situations I get summoned into happen in this location, like being summoned right next to an invading DM or DW.

Neither of these are as high volume as the traditional spots, but they can break the monotony a bit particularly if you are also doing some farming or blacksmithing yourself.

If youre playing on PC, then its becouse the netcode is *** up
