Do you wish Dark Souls had a de-leveling method?

I remember how this was useful in Demon's Souls. When I scaled up too high for coop/pvp I remember invading and escaping just to de-level. Do you guys wish Dark Souls had some way of de-leveling your toon?

Does the de-level take away your last upgrade? or does it just take your level down 1?

In Demon's Souls, it affected the stat that was most increased from your initial stats. So not necessarily the 'highest number', but the 'most points invested'...

if they would add a level restriction on upgraded weapons it would be *** awesome but otherwise everyone would be like: lvl up, get chaos weapons +5, delevel, **** poor people

I mean come on, even Skyrim doesn't have delevelling (to my very limited knowledge)

then again it would reduce the amount of things people shout BB glitch at as a solution...

Dark Souls is all about paying for your mistakes, and learning from them as a consequence.

Also, creating a new toon is so easy anyway!

I voted no. I just feel like the known issues with not having the option to de-level outweigh the unknown consequences of having it. I can't imagine all the ways people would screw up the game, given the option.

This would be great. I used it a lot in DeS. It was very helpful and convenient.

I'd love it. It would get abused a lot though. So I say if they ever did it it'd have to cost half a million souls for one level.

Griefers are the only thought that comes to my mind, and the BB glitch is more convenient than deleveling would be.
