Manus Catalyst and 2h...and something else

Short question: Does 2H affect the bonus that the Manus Catalyst will give to Dark sorceries? For example, will the damage from 1H the catalyst at 27 STR be the same if I 2H it?

Second question: Do diminishing returns for the bonus kick in at 40 STR or 50?

Diminishing returns are.most apparent from 40 onwards same for dex
I would think that 2handing the manus would get a bonus but i cant confirm it 100%

First question no if I remember.

Second question I think it's after 50 Str based on Rynn's research.

from 39 to 40 str you gain 9 extra points of AR on a A scaling weapon but 40 to 41 you only get 1 extra point of AR.
i think you would only get extra physical damge when you melee with it.

But, that is for AR with Str weapons. Seig, I assume, is talking about the spell damage.

Spell damage does not get a boost from 2H.
