New Year's resolution

Lay off of Dark Souls lol.

I just started this October, but it consumed me :|
My grades plummeted and I stopped doing Insanity(only needed 1 more week too )

Edit: okay, maybe not lay off
But I sure as hell could spend less time on it lol

Mine is to figure out my passion while I work so that when I go back to uni (I've been there on and off for a year and a half) I know what I really want to do.

I could stand to "find a passion." I'm incredibly unmotivated.

I'd like to speak fluent japanese before next year.

I've been thinking of trying to work on becoming a voice actor in-training.

Ahaha Im learning Japanese so that I can go there at the end of next year.

Write at least one fully story every day for a year.

Ive tried that one. Its really hard. Mine was to churn out a full chapter each week, fully proof read, and of a reasonable quality. I got about nine weeks in before study, social things, and some awful luck got te better of me and stopped my routine.

I've tried it before and only managed to do it every other day, so instead I'll be going for a full on every day this year and sticking to it.

Not to get overwhelmed before I start college. Once the new year starts, it'll be my last semester of high school plus baseball is going to be starting. School has been fairly easy for me this year but I'm thinking that along with the extra commitment in baseball I might have to put more effort into school so my GPA doesn't take a hit. It's only 5 months til I graduate, but I really wish it was just smooth sailing from here.

I'd really like to start painting (not the walls). I've got all the gear and everytime I go into the spare room and see it I think 'I'll start tomorrow' but tomorrow never comes.

Thats the plan, though I don't have a timetable. I refuse to visit a country if I can't speak the language. It just seems rude.

Also, there are always companies looking for translators. (the eventual goal being to speak every major language)

Now that Christmas is over, I feel like I can finally start looking forward to the new year.

You're never fully dressed without a smile. So... I'd like to stay positive and keep finding things to smile about. If I can help others smile along the way, that would be even better.

Wear more clothes... people seem to dislike the concept of me sometimes watering the garden nude. I am sure a towel may satisfy their needs.

To work on this story I have churning in my head, put it to lyrics, get a band, and stop being so boring and actually get out of bed once in a while.

This year has left me horrendously unmotivated, and rather depressed. I want to do something about that. I need a job and some other hobbies besides music and video games. I'm gonna try tea; various types of teas to be precise. Maybe I'll get into painting too. I just need something to do besides playing my Xbox and procrastinating on learning new songs.

My resolution is to not post New Year's resolutions on forums.

To bring, at least, some real meaning and as much laughter as possible into the lives of others that I meet. So that their smile is just, perhaps, a bit more wide and a bit more bright.

And...

To understand what "limits" me and find the knowledge and courage to "push the envelope" and go beyond.

That's it...

To motivate myself to do things. When I mean things I mean finish off a book that I started working on a year ago, finish a music project I started a few months ago, learn Japanese, and get better cardio.

Or maybe I should put that off until next year...

My resolution is to get started on my short stories. I always wanted to write, but lack of motivation/attention has always stopped me. So instead, I have chosen to write H.P. Lovecraft style, in short stories, and am focusing more upon creating a world that people can imagine themselves into, less of one based upon actual characters.

Am starting to make cliff notes of the first one right now.

My New years resolution is to allow myself one less year for complete world domination. A year gone by, and progress is going surprisingly well.

Too not be angry in the morning.

To spend less time on my computer.
