STRENGTH MYTH; affect on attack speed or not?

Before the release of this lovely game it was believed the strength stat would affect your attack animation speed.
Later on the information was removed from the wiki as false but the myth still stays.

Now inspired by our wiki's chat I have decided to ask the forum's community to find truth once and for all.

The discussion in the chatroom provided no evidence against the myth nor to prove it true.

It is not stated anywhere in the game, or the official guide that strength affects your attack speed.

There is only one way to find out and prove it:

Dark souls dexterity cast times

I lack the devices to capture gameplay so I am asking this forum if anybody is intrested enough to make a video such as the one in the provided url.
Choose one weapon, capture yourself swinging it on different strength levels.

myth 100%, I'm sure it has been tested and it is on our wiki or the wikidot if you need to check.

thats the only place i could find without testing myself, states it clearly there.

in terms of what extra STR gives you just like the extra dex increases casting times, it would be the damage bonus when 2 handing your weapon, presumably that is the bonus behind it, not any speed of weapon swing, though i think if properly implemented would be a better way to make STR builds more viable than dex builds

Still people state that the myth is true and wiki information can't be trusted. We need undeniable evidence about this issue to finally finish this myth once and for all.

That's why I am looking for someone with capture devices and the intrest towards the subject!

I think it is false.
But I want to get final proof behind my thoughts.

I already found someone who is considering of doing the video. I still would need volunteers if there is anybody who is so intrested in dark souls and video editing.

This vid could have an effect on character building permanently.

I have found a person to help me on this subject, and she has started to work on the video.
Soon we get this myth to a conclusion.

My guy with 56 stret swings a Long Sword as fast as my guy with only 12.
