blightown pvp/other places

it came to my attention that the only darkwraith in blightown is maneater mildred the other day. i thought to myself, how could i fix this? By making a dedicated darkwraith to invade blightown of course! Invades are a consistent thing. In my four hours of doing it last night during the later hours, i did not get a single failed invade. the closest i got was some people made it to quelaag before i had a chance to nail them with my pyromancy flame.

Doing all of this did prompt a thought within my head though. Why don't we see more darkwraiths in areas that aren't deemed "dueling arenas?" I like to be human as i'm beating areas just to invite that darkwraith to come kill me but, they hardly ever come. It gets rather lonely when you aren't in the burg/forest/township.

It seems as though the invasion mechanic is hardly ever touched upon by players anymore. Its getting to the point where I'm pretty much asking for those BB griefers to come murder me in the burg just so i can get some real down and dirty invading.

I've started to ramble quite a bit, so lemme just wrap this up.
1. Invading nonstandard areas is fun.
2. Not a lot of people do it. Hence most people there aren't expecting it.
3. PvE isn't as fun without the looming shadow of a darkwraith/darkmoon about to slit your throat.
4. Most hosts are beginning to rely on their phantoms to do the work for them. We darkwraiths/darkmoons have let them think this will work.

When I get invaded in an unusual location, it tends to piss me off a bit, because I'm there to do some PvE, probably farm, or, kill a boss, so I can advance.
So being fog blocked by an invader, or having to watch my back through the area is a pain in the Smough. Thus, I usually use any means nescessary to dispose of the invader asap. If he tries something funny, that may cost me time, like running away, hiding etc, I just log off from PSN.

I run only Dex builds, so I invaded in places with space to spare, so I can evade my opponent's attacks. Places like upper part of Blighttown suck for me, because Str build, or a caster can wreck me there with no problem.

Only areas where I never get invaded are Lower Undead Burg, Ceaseless Discharge area, Centipede Demon area, Lost Izalith (extremely rare), Sanctuary Guardian area, New Londo (semi rare).
Other than those, I get invaded everywhere else at least one time before completing the area each time I get there.

i get invaded EVERYWHERE, and im pretty sure people that invade dont pay attention to 'pvp' areas and just invade everywhere which is what i do. the reason not a lot of people invade btown is because is a pain in the as and youre wasting a ringslot by ussing the rusted ring, unless they stay away from the swamp.

Similar to Tomb of Giants.
You have to sacrifice headpiece for Sunlight Maggot, which some people don't want to, especially casters.
I actually see lot of Str builds there and casters are rare for me. I'm starting to like the place a bit.

I really like fighting in random areas. It spices up my normal monotonous PvE runs and I get to use the terrain more than normal.

I have a SL 30 that I invade some uncommon areas with. Lower Btown, Depths, Sens(even though sens is common) And Demon Ruins, I am actually suprised at how often I catch people in Ruins, it's a great area to fight with all kinds of hazards, menacing enemies. Super fun stuff.
