Demographic Survey? I haven't visited the site, nor do I intend to. Just what kind of information does it ask for? Name, age, gender? If so, I hope those of you who have already parted with this kind of personal information are aware that it could indeed 'be useful to others' and that those 'others' may be only too ready to take advantage of it.
Call me paranoid if you like but the internet is awash with individuals whose motives are other than honest.
I am not suggesting that NJ4998 is one of those by the way but sometimes it is wise to err on the side of caution.

slake, it asked for a few personal things, age, gender, and country of residence, but nothing that could be pointed directly at you. so you're 16-20, male, and live in america? great! so do half a million other people! its just things about what console you use, what builds you prefer, PvE or PvP, where you like to get summoned for bosses, etc. stuff about the game itself. not sure how much it matters now, but still. at least look into it before being paranoid. if it asks for something you aren't comfortable answering, don't take the survey
