How Low Can a Griefer GO?

Just curious. I started a new toon and was kindling my first bonfire in undead burg. I was level 5 or 6. I went to buy a weapon at the undead merchant when I get invaded. The guy is well geared and using a lightning weapon. I hid behind the wall and whacked him a few times before he saw me. I probably did less then 100 pts of damage before he one shotted me with his uber sword. He then gives me the WWE(wrestling) shrug.
So this guy must be very skilled to take down my level 5 naked character. I'm on xbox. Does this happen alot on PS3?

I believe it's about the same, there are at least people doing it on PS3, but only on Xbox can people make their SL1. Sorry to hear it, I would grief them back if I could but I'm doing shield work and I'm stuck with a silver account.

It wasn't much of a bother. I was just surprised at how some people bottom feed off the newbies like that. That is the most newbie area of the game, and it gets invaders using late game gear. What a joke.

Early on it's hard cause you're a little too naked, but once you get to the Parish and onward it's fun as hell to beat Griefers! They are the only people ever that I pivot stab.

Yessir, it's super lame. I've been making anti-griefer toons. One that's meant to be summoned as a sunbro, and one that waits there to get invaded (have not beat any early game boss except Taurus Demon).

This may inspire me to do more pvp. I'd love to kill some griefers.

If you camp griefers my advice is, make sure they show signs of being one, mostly heavy armor flipping around with big weaponary. Give them no mercy, use whatever you have to beat them.

If you wait there at early bosses you probably won't want to ring the Church bell, which means no lightning weapons. I suggest getting a Divine +10 weapon, which both embers are located where people to Grief so you can go get them without killing an early game boss. Or Chaos too I suppose.

I need to brush up on some pvp. I've been a pve person thus far, but clearly pvp is what makes the game stay in your console.

You can complete the game then anti-grief in NG+, that's what I did for awhile. Would allow you good equipment and a good level ahead of them.

Sounds good if you get to keep your weapons in NG+.

happens on all systems, it's how the game's PVP has gone now, which makes me kinda sad... :|

I have done the same except I have kept the Taurus Demon alive and traveled to the perrish by going to vally of the drake taking the elevator up and running through the garden till I hit the Ttanite demon and the black smith. .

I did this so I can still be invaded at the burg as well. I have dropped my sign down so many time and have fought a crap load of grievers.. as well as fended them off when they invade a host I'm helping through the level.
