I'm SL 120 and have the crest and could possibly help you out. However, can you even drop the crest once it's been used? If you're interested in having me help either just reply here or send me a message on xbl, my GT is the same as my name on here.

I'm pretty sure it can't be done. The Crest is in the same inventory category as keys, which I'm almost positive can't be traded. It's worth a shot, but I don't think it's possible.

That's what I was thinking, I was thinking key items can't be traded/dropped. I'm not 100%, but I'm pretty sure. Still wouldn't mind giving it a shot if OP is still interested if he is positive he needs the help.

OP, you can use the ladder being the Hydra to get into darkroot basin and access the battle with Sif.

Yes, this is correct. You can access Sif/the Forest Hunters via the Hydra, up the ladder, and through the 3 cats.

Sorry for late reply i had to take a break from computer for a while and yeah i started a entirely new char just for the crest and i only wanted it for the pvp so the hydra way was a no no

what i do is put the white soap sign down by the gargoyles and keep co op fighting them until i have enough souls to buy the crest. other wise i am pretty sure u can't trade it, but have never really tried before
