    rapiers. do they pierce shields?

Post by javarush214 on Mon Dec 17, 2012 1:07 am

I noticed that when i do the forward r1 attack for rapiers on players who block with grass crest shield, i notice the damage is quite good ranging from 100-150. though when players use shields like havels, crest shield and other shields that have 100% physical attack def, my rapier couldnt pierce through the shield.

anyways please confirm if rapiers damage through shields or if im just landing blind block spot attacks.

You mean the 'kick' attack, right? Yes, it does damage around shields. Not much, usually, but since the Grasscrest Shield let's 5% damage in anyway I guess that's why it worked so well for you.

yeah the rapier and curved sword kick attacks go through shields more than other weapons i n exchange for not being able to kick normally.
