shame, not even a nominee for dark souls.

The, video games awards thing is out and voting begun. Dark souls 2 is on the most anticipated list, but sad to not see dark souls on there. Granted i know the new media hype game will always win regardless of what game actually is the "best". Anyone else going to check OTHER and type in dark souls?

Because Dark Souls was on last years list. If it was on the list it would be like having Skyrim back on the list.

It's games of 2012, Dark Souls was released in 2011, so it doesn't belong there. Only thing that can be there is the DLC, Artorias of the Abyss, which I would give an award for the best downloadable/additional content of the year, but it will probably go to Mists of Pandaria for WoW.
If it's PS3/Consoles only, I see no reason why AotA shouldn't win.
