Getting Back into Dark Souls

So after a two month hiatus from Dark Souls and kinda feel like another challenge.

So my idea is to make a Knightly build mainly for co op and PvE using the Silver Knight Straight Sword and either the Iron Round Shield or the Sunlight Shield.

Now I havent made a faith build in a long time and could use to tips for this build.

Also if anyone s feeling charitable enough to donate some of the equipment I'd be much obliged.

Anyways, no lightning spear anymore in the last one? How can you be a true sunbro without them? They're pretty useful in coop, as long as whatever you're fighting has agro'd someone else, you can freely throw lightning!

If you're going mainly for PvE I'd recommend the Iron Round Shield over the Sunlight Shield. The SLSh has defensive stats that are a little bit better, and it weighs a little less, both of which are great, but the IRSh's high deflection makes it a great choice for PvE. I used it with my last DEX build up until the point where I got into the SL range I wanted to PvP in, and it's awesome for PvE, like using a smaller, more lightweight great shield. But if you plan on starting to PvP, I'd go with something else, because the deflection doesn't transfer to PvP, and there are a few other choices with better all around defensive stats.
