Weird Bug/Glitch?

So..My ps3 has been acting up recently with the text chatrooms and the XMB menu. This morning I went to the township to host some invasions..and when the multiplayer fog wall popped up, I could still rest at my bonfire until the inevitable "Failed to Create Session" message popped up.

Had anyone else had this strange experience? Or is my ps3 just off its rocker?

You were 'hosting', someone tried to invade you but failed. Or a connection issue.

Yeah, but he was able to rest at his bonfire while the fog wall was up, that's unusual. Same thing has happened to me recently at the Township bonfire. Xbox.

Usually I only get that message after I spammed the Dried Finger and defeated my invader. Never really happened other than that.

I don't think the console is the problem. It is probably a connection issue or maybe a problem with the Dark Souls server.

Yeah, the console was fine. I didnt realise our network was unsecured so I fixed that problem...
