I can't believe someone has created a trainer for this game. I'm speechless and shocked at the same time... Really...

was only a matter of time before someone did something like that. this is why console is better for gaming for the most part. some people just dont like to "work" for anything.

Re: Trainer for PC version...
This was inevitable for the PC version.
I just wish it was used more for fun in single-player and for testing purposes. The cheating sucks, but if people found a way to spawn permanent Gravelord Black Phantoms for themselves throughout all areas, that would be awesome.
I also designed a detailed plan on how to test vagrants that I think would yield results, but it requires trainers... and encouraging the use of trainers will certainly be frowned upon.

I wasn't the one who downrepped you, but i don't agree with you either.
Saying that the PC crowd doesn't want to "work" for anything is a generalization and it's wrong. There would be trainers on PS3/Xbox as well if it was easier to do it.

lol i'm -1 wtf, i said, "some people", not everyone. for pc versions of just about anything there's stuff that people come up with for things like this, that's just the way it is like it or not. it wasn't directed any anyone who plays pc games or anyone specific. i was more or less indicating that this activity is to be expected on pc platforms, tha'ts all

I was the one who downrepped, since "console is better for gaming" is just a childish console war-ish comment. You can also save edit in Xbox and many people do it to get that huge amount of divine blessings and elizabeth mushrooms they so annoyingly use, but it doesn't mean that "PS3 is better than Xbox for gaming" nor anything like that.

Re: Trainer for PC version...
actually the superior hp hack that the trainer implements has shown up on xbox now too so pc vs console is irrelevant, plus you get hackers on ps3 too.

Woah!, hold up I thought we all agreed. ^ I think modds are ok for things that add utility and exploration for certain games however a modd that undermines the difficulty of Dark souls destroys what it stands for which is self-accomplishment in the face of overwhelming odds.

Re: Trainer for PC version...
Although I agree that undermining the difficulty of Dark Souls kills part of the game's "core", I believe that taking repetetive, tedious, or redundant sections which represent less of a "challenge" and more of a "chore" out can actually help improve the game. The main problem is when these things are abused and used as a shortcut. If you are going to play online pvp, I believe you should work your way through that, not just "give yourself" a complete build. Don't compete against people who take these things from the ground up if you aren't willing to do the same.
