Where to farm titnaite slabs?

So I want some titanite slabs to upgrade my Elite Knight set to maximum. Can anyone tell me where a good place to farm slabs is?

Only place is the Lower New londo dark wraiths, 10 humanity and farming ring and vget going.

dont expect to get one until after a few hours though... you think im kidding right?

I got one for my mage when I killed my first Darkwraith, however, I farmed them with my Melee heavy build for hours and did not found any

I have found 2 on my sl 10, suffice to say I have 125 hours on that toon lol. Serious is serious, it takes forever haha.

Just play through NG and NG+ and you will have gotten at least four slabs (maybe more if you get lucky on the tree house lizards).
Each play through will for sure give you 1 from Fat Irene in the basement at the Asylum, and 1 from the Onion Knight's patricidal daughter. Should be enough to get your shiney armor its shiniest.
It will take about the same amount of time, and you'll be a saner being for it.
Or just do what I did on my medium armor slapfighting toon and supplement the Elite Knight Chest +10 with Black Iron +5 everything else....cheesey I admit...but it still looks classy. And it's way easier to farm Twinkling Titanite on the clam monsters in Bikini Bottom (Ash Lake).

? you can buy twinkling from the smith in anor londo dude, dont waste your slabs on elite armor, theres better armors out there.

how do you farm Darkwraiths if you need a transient curse to get past the Ghosts and the Female undead merchant only sells a few?
Ghost blade?
Stay cursed and risk the Darkwraiths with half health? (Brings me back the the good old days of Souls Form..)
Rely on Drops?
Or is there a better way to farm them?

once you drain new londo just run past the first two ghosts and on the right side where theres a chest with transient curses drop down and then go around killing the darkwraiths.

Before the Stairs to the first ambush room?

I recently got one at New Londo Ruins (my very first through farming). Didn't take that long...maybe 15 minutes of trying with 210 discovery. You should have seen the expression of glee on my face, lol. It's the only place to farm for Titanite Slabs. Make sure you have the patience though.

I agree. Don't waste hours farming. Do 2 run throughs, get 4 slabs. Much faster than farming 4 slabs.

I've farmed DW for hours.. got something like 20 dark hands and 99 Titanite chunks... but no slabs at all ... Farmed with a lot of humanity + serpent rings..
Some people got extremely lucky and got one slab very easily.. I spent like 2 afternoons killing DWs, and got nothing...
BTW, the easiest way to farm DWs (no need for transient curse) is to rest at the bonfire in the darkroot forest, the one next to the elevator : Use the elevator to get to the dragon valley, then run past the dragons to the new londo ruins, and kills all the DW there.. don't try killing the dragon : waste of time !

And as people said already : Titanite slabs are indeed extremely rare and I would never waste them on an armor... Especially the elite knight one...
Keep them for the weapon trophies/achievements !!

You can use the drop down just past the first two ghosts if you come from Firelink. This is faster imo and you don't have to dodge dragons

Farming for these slabs surely can't be worse than farming for the Pure Bladestone in Demons' Souls? right?

You don't need to be cursed to fight Darkwraiths, only the ghosts.

Beats farming IMO

I had every other trophy for close to a month and then played ONLY for that bladestone to get the trophy. Just got to NG+ in this game and ended up with at least one slab of each color. After I got the last color I almost jumped for joy at not having to farm for a month and only one slab was a drop. If you didn't have the pleasure of the bladestone farming I say go for the DW farming although if you're sane you'll give up long before your armor set is through. Your best bet is to follow the suggestion to keep playing through. If you plan on trophies you need three playthroughs anyway for Sif which could yield 6 slabs from Stray and Onions leaving you three extra. Maybe you get lucky and find that fourth from a DW.

BTW, my one dropped slab was from the DW on my first attempt at Four Kings. Several more trips including some for farming/pleasure (after getting obliterated by a DW the first few times I get a certain thrill in their death) and I have yet to see another drop.

No way, Farming for pure bladestone was the worst experience of my life, I have farmed a fair amount of slabs tho. Also, you dont need transient curses. Just use an upraded jagged ghost blade and it 2 shots ghosts. Down point is you cant block.

10 characters. 600(ish) hours. Got my first slab from a darkwraith last night. It was on my main char. Level 305, NG+17 or so. Massive humanity but no ring. (I don't use the gold serpent ring as it never seems to have the slightest positive influence, imo.)

I've never farmed them, but still!

All this talk about the Pure Bladstone reminds me, that's the only trophy I need in Demon's Souls still... &%$#.
